There’s just something warm and comforting about a bowl of noodles.
And we know y’all get us — why else would y’all be as upset as we were the times the Noodles at ‘Ohana disappeared from the menu? We hope you got as excited as we did about The Noodle Exchange at this year’s EPCOT Food and Wine Festival because its menu is ALL noods.
So yeah, we got a little excited when we saw an Asian Noodle Bowl available at The Artist’s Palette at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort. It’s Rice Noodles with Miso Pho Broth, Napa Cabbage, Tofu, Onions, Mushrooms, Carrots, Jalapenos, Cilantro, and Lime.
The miso broth was rich and flavorful, and the best part is that despite the jalapenos, it wasn’t TOO spicy. We’ve tried a lot of noodle dishes at Disney World, but this could be our new fave!
The vegetables were also nice and fresh and had a great crunch, which worked well with that delicious broth. A similar dish that we tried at The Noodle Exchange in EPCOT was VERY spicy, so we think this has a better balance for those who don’t love spice. Another thing to note is that this soup was super hot, so beware when you’re carrying it to your table!
This is a Plant-Based dish, too — so it’s perfect for those on plant-based diets (although we would recommend it for almost anyone). Picky eaters might not love it, though, because it does pack a little heat, but to us, it was the right amount of spiciness. This is something you can grab when you’re tired of the chicken nuggets or other typical quick-service eats.
If you want to try it out for yourself, it’s available now for $12.99. And we’ll let you know if we spot any other new foods at Disney World.

More noodles bowls anywhere at WDW are welcome. Years ago, we hit it just right to get a noodle bowl when they were serving such food at Tomorrowland Terrace, and it was a big hit with my husband. Ramen and pho are both having a moment, so having permanent noodle stands – or at least dishes – available in places like the World Showcase and resorts would be great. I especially love all the new plant-based offerings, not just salad for those of us who stick with mostly or all vegetarian food.

Sandra, we would expect to see some variation in what’s available as plant-based. To satisfy both of your requirements, by the way, I suggest checking out Harambe Market in Animal Kingdom. They’ve got a plant-based bowl that’s vegan sausage on cilantro rice with some toppings. (I’m looking forward to trying this on my next visit!)
