A few Disney restaurants are taking a BIG step back to normal!
The Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom
Today, Boma at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge became the first buffet to open in Disney World since the parks closed last year. Other restaurants that used to be buffets have been using family-style service, but that’s about to change!
The Crystal Palace is an iconic Magic Kingdom restaurant that sits on the edge of the Cinderella Castle hub. The building is BEAUTIFUL and, in the past, it has been a great spot to meet friends from the Hundred Acre Wood.
The Crystal Palace Reopening
Since it reopened in December 2020, character dining has been on pause and the restaurant’s typical buffet has been swapped for family-style service. Now, though, the buffet at The Crystal Palace is set to return!

Disney just announced that the buffet will open for lunch and dinner beginning September 12th!

Get ready to dine on a familiar menu of Parker House rolls, create-your-own fresh garden salad, seared pork tenderloin, fire-roasted prime rib, braised beef short ribs, and more.

Hi! Crystal Palace was always our favorite way to start the day at Magic Kingdom with a fun breakfast. Seeing the news that they will again bring back their buffet, wondering if you could get the inside scoop about when breakfast will be back and hoping it’s before our October trip, specifically our daughter, Crystal’s, 39th birthday, October 14. OMG, finally some good news. Was our classic spot for our birthday meal for my daughter’s. I would assume my reservation will not be affected by this change.

I am super excited for Crystal Palace to return to normal it hold so many great memories for our family! Any idea if BE OUR GUEST will return to normal lunch??? Never have been a fan of the menu they have now. We are planning a trip for OCTOBER and I’m really hoping to be able to go there for lunch. As a major Beauty and The Beast fan it would make my whole trip!

I am wondering if my fave restaurant in all of Disney World, the Crystal Palace in the Magic Kingdom, will be offering breakfast in the near future? Hopefully by November when my family and I take our next wonderful vacation? Sure hope so!

We ate there a couple weeks ago and the “family style” meal was awful, here is hoping that the buffet will good.

have checked many sites regarding Crystal Palace breakfast and cannot find a definite answer if they are now serving breakfast. Also, tried to make reservation for May breakfast and only lunch and dinner appeared. Would greatly appreciate any information. Thank you
