Will you be staying at a Disney World Resort during the 50th Anniversary?
Melinda Roberts says
So if I’m reading this correctly…..Annual Passholders not staying on property and day guests are screwed in that no matter how early you arrive or how fast you walk to a major attraction, there will already be a significant line from hotel guests that got there 30 minutes before you.
Is that correct ??
It used to be if you arrived at “rope drop” you could get in one – three major rides without too long of a wait, but that now seems to be impossible. Is Disney doing this to increase revenue by making Stanndby lines longer to encourage use of Genie + and purchasing individual rides ?
Thank you in advance for any insight.
DFB Sarah says
Melinda, I can’t speak to what Disney’s motive for a 30-minute Early Entry might be. When the program starts, we will report on how this impacts wait times for Annual Passholders/day guests.
