We’ve been keeping a close eye on any updates and information about Disney Cruise Line lately.
We’ve shared information about their COVID-19 testing requirements, their updated mask policy for guests taking photos, and their latest cruise cancellations. And now we’ve got some more news. If you’re planning a potential Disney Cruise Line adventure for the future, a number of NEW discounts have just been announced that you might be able to take advantage of!
Florida residents can now save up to 35% on select Disney Cruises to the Bahamas and Caribbean. To qualify for the Florida resident cruise rate, Disney requires at least one adult in each stateroom to provide proof of Florida residency within 48 hours of booking.
This offer is very limited, as there are only 50 qualifying staterooms per qualifying cruise. But, the discount can apply to new AND existing reservations, so that’s something to keep in mind.
The discount applies to select Bahamian and Caribbean cruises. The image below shows just a snapshot of some of the cruises that qualify. You can visit the Disney Cruise Line website to see a full list of qualifying sailings.
Disney is also offering special military rates to members of the U.S. military for select cruises, including retired and active U.S. Military personnel, and they must provide identification at check-in. The special rate is limited to one stateroom per military member (or spouse), per sailing. Disney Cruise Line only provides 50 rooms per category per sailing with this rate.
The deal applies to select sailings, including some from Miami, Port Canaveral…
…Galveston, and New Orleans.
Rates change depending on the date, so make sure you double check with Disney Cruise Line before booking.
Disney Cruise Line has also announced that they will be offering special discounts for select sailings.
With this deal, you could save up to 25% off rates for select cruises by booking a Verandah Category with Restrictions.
Or, you could save up to 30% off rates for other select cruises by booking a Verandah Category with Restrictions.
The number of staterooms available with this offer is limited. Disney notes that this is valid for new bookings only and full payment is required at the time of booking and is non-refundable.
Again, remember that the availability of these discounts is limited and only select dates qualify. We’ll keep checking with Disney Cruise Line for other discounts that could help you save big, so keep reading DFB for more Disney Cruise Line tips and tricks!

This all sounds great and it seems that Disney must be experiencing so challenges with covid and lower than expected bookings. But my question revolves around DVC members and if any of these adjustments to the price or perks translate down. DVC members seemed to be locked in at the higher prices for already made bookings. Any help or guidance?
