We’re at Disneyland today for a returning royal breakfast experience!
A lot is changing at Disneyland Resort, with the new Magic Key passes for sale, restaurants reopening, and new shops coming to Downtown Disney. Now the Princess Breakfast Adventures has reopened in Napa Rose, and it’s a bit different from the past, so we’re giving you a first look into our experience today.
Napa Rose is located inside Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa, which is accessible from Downtown Disney as well as Disney’s California Adventure. The Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures is a three-course breakfast that takes place from Thursdays through Mondays from 8AM to 11AM for the price of $125 for adults and children. Guests receive five hours of valet parking included with validation at the Grand Californian, and they will be charged after five hours. The entire experience is expected to take around two hours, so let’s get into our first look!
Atmosphere
We arrived in the Grand Californian Hotel lobby, which is designed to honor the 20th century Arts and Crafts architectural style of California.
We made our way to Napa Rose, which had a sign out advertising the Breakfast Adventures.
Once we checked in, we waited to find out what happened next. We were first brought to the lounge area to wait for our turn to greet the princesses.
We saw two princesses at our visit — Aurora and Jasmine! The princesses may vary depending on your visit. It looked they were letting like two parties greet princesses at a time.
We greeted the princesses from a distance outside, then returned to the lounge area where we waited until our table was ready in the dining room. The inside of Napa Rose has windows and bright lighting.
Our table had some sunshine streaming in from the large windows.
We received a button celebrating World Princess Week.
Now let’s get into the best part — the royal food!
Breakfast
We received a menu for Royal Morning Libations, which includes alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for an extra cost.
The three-course breakfast includes a First Course of Cold Starters, a Second Course buffet of hot Entrees, and a Third Course of Desserts. Breakfast comes with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine, but they can also make it a mimosa!
And, of course, a basket of pastries and bread comes with the First Course.
For the Cold Starters, we had a Brûlée Banana Slice wrapped in a Chocolate Nutella Cepe, a Ham and Cheese Open Sandwich, Coconut Chia Pudding, and Beignets.
We also had a Lobster Roll on a Butter Brioche!
The Main Course is the breakfast buffet which comes with Fries with a Red Pepper Romesco Sauce & Ketchup.
And of course, we chose Mickey Waffles from the buffet!
And the Dessert Course came with Pocahontas Peanut Butter Mousse, Mulan Firecracker Strawberry Sorbet (with pop rocks!), Ariel Mango Macaron, Belle Raspberry Tart, and Belle and Aurora Brownie Cake Pops. Yum!
We received a gift bag after our meal, containing items like a frame of Disney Princess autographs!
And on the way out we saw Ariel…
…and it was story time with Belle for guests leaving the restaurant.
There was also complimentary coffee and tea on the way out!
So that was our first look at the Napa Rose Princess Adventure Breakfast, so stay tuned for a full review soon! Keep reading DFB for all your Disneyland and Disney World restaurant news and updates!

Can’t wait for the full review! We have reservations in 2 weeks and want to know how it’s going to operate!
D. Brock says
Around $400, with tip, for two adults with one child for breakfast. You gotta love Disney and Orange county, CA.
Kathleen says
Hello! Did you get other interactions with the princesses? Or was it just during the entrance greeting and the exit story time? We are going this Saturday and trying to determine if this is going to be worth the price and getting access to time with princesses. Thank you for the information!
Bianca says
This does NOT seem worth it.
I have reservations for next week, but now I’m questioning it. Also my daughter is gluten and dairy free, which I noted in our reservation, but if the menu is set, will they be able to accommodate?
DFB Sarah says
Bianca, I would expect Disney to offer options for diners with allergies. You may want to call Disneyland/Napa Rose specifically to inquire. They may be able to give you more reassurance.
Athina says
Well, my daughter and I went this last weekend and I don’t think it’s worth it. My daughter, ang 4, had fun, however, most of the food they serve is not really geared towards children and we only got to see 3 princesses.
Gabriel Gayner says
In my opinion, no. You don’t get a lot of food for your money and many of the meal options s are geared towards adults and not children. We met 3 princesses and felt like we were rushed through
