Lots of things have been changing around Disney World.
Over the past few months a number of hotels have reopened, more restaurants have become available again, and other changes have been made. Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas — Kidani Village have been open for quite some time. But today Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and the Disney Vacation Club Villas at Jambo House have officially reopened!
Lobby and Animals
As we mentioned, the Disney Vacation Club Villas at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge — Kidani Village have been open for quite some time. But, today the resort’s non-Disney Vacation Club rooms and the Disney Vacation Club Villas at Jambo House have both reopened. Of course, we had to stop by and check things out!

After a quick walk through the beautiful lobby we made sure to say “hello” to some of our animal friends!
Animal Kingdom Lodge is a great place to spot some animals without having to enter a theme park.
Check out what friends we spotted from the balcony of our room!

The best resort in Disney World! Planning to be there in January if all goes well. The whole place is like a museum – everywhere you look, there is something to discover! We like that it’s off the beaten path too, 5 minutes from Animal Kingdom but away from the noise of the rest of the parks and resorts.

Hoping to stay here later in 2022! This, Grand Floridian, and Polynesian have been on our resort to-do list for some time.

There is (I think) a new room type available at AKL. There’s a “2 Bedroom Suite” as opposed to “Villa.” My guess is that they revamped the 2 bedroom lock-offs. Any chance of a video tour?
