It’s a VERY big day today! We get to take you with us on our ride through Disney World’s NEWEST attraction!
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is the much-anticipated centerpiece of the France Pavilion expansion in EPCOT. The area and ride officially open on October 1st, but we were invited to preview it ALL today. Yep, we’re going INSIDE Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure — and we’re taking you with us!
We actually got the chance to experience this ride earlier this week, but we weren’t allowed to snap pictures or video. Now, we’re capturing it ALL so you can really see what to expect from Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure!
The attraction is located in the France Pavilion expansion in EPCOT. This new area is yet to open and features the ride, La Creperie de Paris, and some amazing theming (like a VERY fun rat fountain).
We’ll be showing you around the WHOLE expansion in GREAT DETAIL — but right now, we’re focused on Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure! Check out that ah-mazing marquee.
Heading up to the ride, you’ll spot the different queue entrances including Stand By, Single Riders, and the Fastpass+ (this queue will likely be renamed “Lightning Lane” soon).
Remember, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will be available via Virtual Queue or paid Lightning Lane access when it opens!
Click here to get full details about how the virtual queue will work for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.
As you head into the queue itself, you might spot some familiar faces like Remy and Linguini! Say hi to The Famous Little Chef and The Clumsy Junior Chef!
Even the wallpaper in the entrance area has some fun details. There are beautiful French designs accented with depictions of rats and cookware! Plus, is that cheese we see!? Ok, we’re into it.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure does have that Single Riders line as well and remember that any groups who opt to use this queue will be separated and assigned different vehicles.
In the queue, you’ll stroll past some vignette scenes like this one that’s exclusive to Walt Disney World! Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is also an attraction in Disneyland Paris.

Without further ado, join us for a FULL ride through of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure!
Of course, Remy decides to make Ratatouille right before we “fall” into the kitchen! Note: this isn’t an actual drop. It’s only an illusion meant to look like a drop thanks to the screens in front of you. Remember, we’re rat-sized so this is NOT GOOD.
Linguini helps to hide us from Chef Skinner and antics ensue. You even end up in the cooler and the furnace at one point!
After you finally escape from Skinner, you get to hang with Remy in his personal dining area!
Throughout the ride, there are a lot of great elements to look for like physical props, the action on the screens, and the other effects like water, heat, and smells. This attraction is such sweet fun for the whole family and we can’t WAIT to hear your thoughts when you give it a ride. We’ll be bringing you a LOT more coverage from the France Expansion so stay tuned to DFB for all the details!

Gail says
Is the drop an actual drop
DFB Sarah says
Gail, it is not an actual drop.
DFB Sarah says
Ken, I believe Gusteau’s introduction is done in both languages. I’ll see if I can get confirmation.
Jabroniville says
Cool! I rode this in Paris, and it was pretty fun! Is it an exact clone as a ride?
DFB Sarah says
Jabroniville, I believe it is a clone.
