Breakfast may be the most important meal of the day, but when your day includes racing to rope drop or running for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, it sometimes has to be the FASTEST meal of the day, too. We’ve tried a lot of Walt Disney World breakfasts, and we’ve found the best FAST breakfasts that will fuel your fun-filled morning.
Even if you’re not a big breakfast eater, it can help get your morning started to grab at least a little something when you set out for a Disney World day. It’s good to know that options abound for those of us who want to grab something delicious and FAST. So, let’s get into it!
Joffrey’s at the Transportation and Ticket Center
Before you hop on that monorail or fast foot it over to the ferry, STOP! You are just a few steps away from a great fast breakfast option. This often overlooked Joffrey’s location isn’t usually on the radar for people trying to get into the theme parks quickly, so the lines aren’t too bad.
A quick stop will get you your morning cuppa Joe and one of their delicious pastries! But if you miss it, you’ll find more Joffrey’s coffee inside the theme parks! (PSST…a lot of our reporters actually PREFER Joffrey’s coffee over the other coffee option in the parks that rhymes with Shmarshmucks!)

BoardWalk Bakery
As the name suggests, this location is at the BoardWalk Inn & Villas, and if you’re staying in the area or plan to walk to Disney’s Hollywood Studios or EPCOT, the BoardWalk Bakery could be on your way. Although it’s best to get here first thing in the morning. But, even if there is a line, it moves pretty quickly.
It won’t be long until you are noshing on a delicious Butter Butter sandwich (basically a ham, egg, and cheese on rich, buttery bread) and sipping a cappuccino. Even their simple staples like croissants are fresh made and DELISH. And once you’re fueled up, you can propel yourself to the Force that awaits you at Hollywood Studios!
However, while this is a great option for a quick breakfast right now, BoardWalk Bakery will be CLOSING in the future to make way for a new sandwich shop. This is just one of many changes coming soon to the BoardWalk, so enjoy the bakery while you can. We don’t have an official closing date yet, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated.

Quick Service Dining at Your Resort
With the advent of mobile ordering, this is an excellent choice to get your Mickey waffles or a full breakfast platter super quickly. Place your order first thing in the morning, and when your time window opens, it can be as little as a four or five-minute time investment to get breakfast.
Just zip in, snag your bag, and be on your way! Just make sure to reserve your arrival window early! Most resort quick service spots offer up similar breakfast options like Mickey Waffles, breakfast platters, or sandwiches. Some of the more unique locations, like Cap’t. Cook’s at the Polynesian Village Resort, have specialties like Tonga Toast for breakfast. A deep-fried slab of sourdough stuffed with bananas and rolled in cinnamon sugar works wonders to get us moving first thing in the morning. YUM!

Yak and Yeti Local Foods Cafe at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
This one is easy to walk past if you’re hustling to get to Expedition Everest or an early morning safari, so you may find the lines really manageable. Stop by Yak and Yeti Local Foods Cafe in the Asia section of Animal Kingdom for a delicious and hearty breakfast bowl, eat an on-the-go breakfast sandwich, or the ultimate fast breakfast option – pancake and sausage on a stick.
Even though this portable beauty is on the Kids’ Menu, you are encouraged to embrace your inner child and grab one for yourself. Talk about getting it to go! This one is easy to eat while you trek your way over to your first attraction. Plus it comes with really good hash brown bites!

Kona Island at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort
Do you love a little tropical vibe in the morning – especially if it comes with a Kona blend coffee? Kona Island is a great morning spot AND a quick stop on the monorail. This fast breakfast may be worth the few minutes you’ll take hopping off on your way to Magic Kingdom. Note that this spot is not to be confused with the Kona Cafe, the Table Service location right next door. Kona Island provides some great on-the-go breakfast options and truly divine coffee options, just steps away from the monorail stop.
Pastries, croissant sandwiches, and specialty coffees are available just by walking up to the counter and will get you where you need to go quickly.

Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie in Epcot’s World Showcase
We swoon when we think of Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie, which is tucked into the back of the France Pavilion at Epcot. Offering freshly baked croissants and baguettes, delicious sandwiches, mimosas, and more, you can make yourself an amazing brunch from the offerings here. For those staying in an EPCOT area hotel, this is a great option since France is right next to the International Gateway!
There are plenty of options for a quick but delicious breakfast, and it’s definitely a favorite any time of day. The Croque Monsieur or really ANY of their awesome sandwiches would make a fantastic start to your day.

Sleepy Hollow Refreshments at Magic Kingdom
When everyone else veers off to race to Seven Dwarfs Mine Train or Space Mountain, you head straight to Liberty Square for one of our favorite fast breakfasts at Sleepy Hollow Refreshments. You won’t find the wait too long if you’re heading there early, but what you will find could fix that rumbly in your tumbly in the best way. The fresh fruit waffle sandwich is a must-do (hot and fresh waffle+Nutella+fresh fruit? Yes PLZ!), and if you’re craving those Mickey waffles, you’ll find them here, plain or with strawberries.
You can wash it down with a cold brew, and you’ll be ready to roll to your first big adventure.

Ronto Roasters at Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios
If breakfast takes you to a galaxy far, far away, you can grab a quick and yummy bite at Ronto Roasters. The breakfast version of the fan-favorite Ronto Wrap includes grilled pork sausage, eggs, cheese, and an out-of-this-world-good peppercorn sauce. We might actually even like the breakfast version best!
If eggs don’t do much for you, you can order a regular Ronto Wrap (this will sub those eggs out for a crunchy slaw and add in some roasted sliced pork!) You’ll find a few other options that are a good, quick breakfast meal in this park, but once you see this Ronto Wrap, well, “Chewie, we’re home.”

Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery at Disney’s Animal Kingdom
With options like a pistachio honey croissant, a classic breakfast sandwich, or the definitely shareable colossal cinnamon roll, it’s a given that Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery in the Africa section of Animal Kingdom is a delicious breakfast option, but it also happens to be super fast. This is another hidden gem in the morning that people might skip right by as they head to a line somewhere else.
It’s certainly not the first fast breakfast food location you’ll encounter in Animal Kingdom (which is why we suspect most people end up at Creature Comforts, the park’s resident Starbucks location). But if you’re looking to start your day with a trip on Kilimanjaro Safaris or in the back of the park, your patience will be rewarded. It’s definitely worth a stop for something good and quick, and the sugar rush from that cinnamon roll will keep you moving most of the morning.

Kringla Bakeri og Kafe at EPCOT
There’s no sugar coating this, breakfast here is a sweet move. School Bread (a sweet, custard-filled roll topped with icing and toasted coconut)Â and a Troll Horn (puff pastry stuffed with marmalade cream) are just some of the sugar-packed options you’ll find at Kringla Bakeri og Kafe, a Norwegian bakery located (not surprisingly) in the Norway Pavilion of EPCOT! But while this is a pretty popular place as the day goes on, you can get there just as they open and beat the crowds of rice cream seekers.
If it’s gonna be a long day, add a Viking Coffee spiked with Irish Cream AND coffee liqueur to get you through. Chow your breakfast goodies then hop in line for Frozen Ever After — it’ll likely have a slightly shorter wait first thing in the morning!
Find out HERE what we thought of the giant Mickey treat also available at Kringla!
Contemporary Grounds at Disney’s Contemporary Resort
Another monorail stop, a quick morning pop into Contemporary Grounds means you are a short walk to the gates at Magic Kingdom. The pastries are all yummy, but it’s the coffee that stands out here. Serving Joffrey’s Coffee, you’ll be able to get your favorite latte or cappuccino, plus specialty drinks like the Shakin’ Jamaican Cold Brew. There’s also a selection of smoothies, packed with fruit and yogurt.
When you’ve got breakfast in hand, it’s only about 10 minutes to Main Street, U.S.A.
Check out our list of the most unique breakfast options in Walt Disney World
While these are some of our fast breakfast favorites, mobile ordering may help make even counter service locations in the parks a quick option for your family. And with the many kiosks and Joffrey’s coffee locations throughout Walt Disney World, there’s bound to be something you can grab on the go, no matter where you want to be! And since it is vacation, if you want popcorn for breakfast — no judgment here, we say go for it! 😉

Please, already! Enough with the School Bread! Not everyone likes it. I don’t care for it. It is much too small for the rice and could use more toping. There are so many other wonderful offerings at Kringla Bakeri og Kafe. My late husband and I always bought on of each of the open faced sandwiches and share them and my absolute favorite is the legitimate, delicious lefsa. And still other offerings without pushing only the School Bread.
Lorraine Pollachek says
Excuse my typo. That was, “It is much too small for the price and could use more topping.”
Dottyanna says
How do you know which quick service uses mobile ordering and which do not? For example, can you mobile order at Gaston’s Tavern? Thanks!
Michele says
It would be nice if Disney goes back and REVERSE how they are doing things and go back to how it USE TO BE!!!
If not we are Disney DONE!
DFB Gigi says
Hi Dottyanna! They will appear on your MyDisneyExperience app under “Mobile Food Orders” as options, however Gaston’s Tavern is not included in mobile ordering.
David Dominie says
We like to stay at Pop. We sometimes get the breakfast platter and split it. This gives us enough to get through, until lunch. Then we can get a lunch and split that. Then we get to a sit-down dinner for our big meal. (This was when we used the dining plan). I think it will work for us without the dining plan. When with the family, we like Chef Mickey and Crystal Palace. We tried Hollywood and Vine and were not very impressed with breakfast.
