Review: Do You Recognize the Obscure Character on Disney World's Latest Treat?

We’ve been hunting down Halloween treats in Disney World lately, and we’ve found some pretty delicious ones!

The parks are full of Halloween decor!

So far, we’ve tried Haunted Mansion Chocolate Eclairs, a Halloween Milkshake that tastes like candy corn, and more! But the treats are still coming. We found a NEW themed dome cake at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort today and it features an obscure Disney character.

The new dome cake at the Polynesian Resort is decorated to look like…Scrump! For those who may not recognize this character, Scrump is Lilo’s rag doll from Lilo and Stitch.

Scrump Dome Cake

The Scrump Dome Cake tasted like a vanilla cake with a cotton candy flavor inside. The outside featured red icing at the base and chocolate pearls. For decoration, there was a pink chocolate bow and hair topper, along with more chocolate decorations.

We thought the cake was very sweet, which is probably to be expected with all of the icing and pieces of chocolate on top plus the flavor of cotton candy we got from the inside.

The cotton candy flavor came through strongly in the inside, so if you’re a big fan of that flavor, you won’t be disappointed!

Scrump Dome Cake

We thought the vanilla cake was a little bit plain. If it had been funfetti or chocolate that could have added a bit more in terms of flavor to the cake portion of the treat.

Overall, it was super sweet and heavy on the cotton candy flavor. We’d recommend this cake to lovers of cotton candy and really sweet treats! It’s also very Instagram-able, so if you’re searching for a unique-looking snack to treat your followers to, this is a fun option.

We got the Scrump Dome Cake for $5.49 at Kona Island, but you can also grab it at Capt. Cook’s, both of which are located in Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
