Howdy from Magic Kingdom!
We’re at the parks alllll the time keeping an eye out for new things to tell you about, so come with us as we share what’s new at Magic Kingdom!
Magic Kingdom Food Updates
Sunshine Tree Terrace
The Backside of Water is GONE at Sunshine Tree Terrace in Adventureland! The treat was on the menu for a while to celebrate the recent renovations of the Jungle Cruise, as well as the new blockbuster movie that came out in July!
In addition to the missing float, you can also no longer get the cotton candy Dole whip that was a part of the treat on its own.
And even though something was removed from the menu, the Citrus Swirl has still not returned!
We’ll keep our eyes peeled for any sign of the treat!

Magic Kingdom Construction Updates
Main Street, U.S.A.
In the Hub in front of Cinderella Castle, all of the statues have been removed!
We noticed this in particular around the fountains.
This could possibly be making room for the new golden character statues that are coming for the 50th anniversary!
Click here to see ALL of the character statues we know about so far!
Up at Tony’s Town Square, the sign is back up!
We noticed a temporary sign for a while, but now, it has been restored to its former glory.
It looks as vibrant as ever!
Fantasyland
Back at Storybook Circus in Fantasyland, we noticed new character banners!
These are the same designs as before…
…they’re just new, so they’re especially fresh and bright!
We saw Salty the Seal…
…Lambert the Man-Eater…
…and Humphrey the Unicycling Bear!
The colorful new banners bring a lot more energy to the area!
Frontierland
In Frontierland, we had noticed the scrim is down around Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe, but wanted to make sure you caught a glimpse, too!
Pecos Bill – not sure if we’ve seen the curtain/scrim down.
Magic Kingdom Merchandise Updates
Uptown Jewelers
We got a glimpse of the new Dooney and Bourke collection that’s coming soon — Paw Pals!
It’ll be available on September 8th inside Uptown Jewelers.
We also found the new Nightmare Before Christmas Loungefly backpack!
We’ve already seen this over in Disneyland, and we’re SO EXCITED it’s made its way to the East Coast!!

You can see Winnie, Mary, and Sarah Sanderson on the glasses, which retail for $34.99.
One of the cutest items we saw recently was this new Disney Tails Halloween shirt for your four legged friends!
AND it glows in the dark!!
You can get it for your fur baby for $39.99.
And 2-packs of masks are being sold at The Emporium now!
We found several different varieties, like this Black Panther set.
These 2-packs are being sold for $19.99.

Tomorrowland Light and Power Co.
We found a couple new phone case in Tomorrowland Light and Power Co. — this Marvel Comics phone case (which is $29.99)…
…and this Animal phone case!
We also found some new Apple Watch bands from Loki! This Miss Minutes one is $34.99…
…and so is this Alligator Loki Variant watch band!
Then, we saw a bunch of new magnets! This What If…? one of T-Challa as Star-Lord is super cool.
And we found some Star Wars magnets, too, like this one of Grogu’s different moods, which…same, Grogu, same.
There is also a new Mandalorian magnet…
…and one of Chewbacca!
And, of course, a meme Grogu for good measure.
These magnets are $14.99.
Village Gifts
Back in Village Gifts in Fantasyland, we saw some artwork that is new to us! This tiki birds canvas is so vibrant and fun for $150.
And this Headless Horseman canvas is PERFECT for Halloween time!
Village Gifts has some amazing artwork, make sure to stop in next time you’re in Magic Kingdom!
Arribas Brothers Cart
The Arribas Brothers Cart in Adventureland has these cool new glass skulls!
One version has a light inside for $29…
…while the others do not — but they’re still really pretty! These go for $39, probably because they’re a bit more detailed!
These are a super unique souvenir you can get for yourself or as a gift!
Magic Kingdom Additional Updates
The Monorail was closed at the Transportation and Ticket Center Monday morning! Both the Express and Resort lines were down, with Cast Members blocking the entrance.
The only way to get to Magic Kingdom was on the ferry boat, which caused a tonnn of backups due to the crowds trying to get to the park for Labor Day!
Once we got to Magic Kingdom from the TTC (which took about 45 minutes🥴), the Monorail lines were down at the entrance to the park as well.
However, things were back up and running again by Tuesday morning!
