As we gear up for Disney World’s 50th anniversary — which starts in less than a month 🤩 — we’re starting to see all kinds of exciting changes and updates at Disney World.
Cinderella Castle is looking spiffier than ever, we’ve seen some sneak peeks of some of the new fireworks shows set to debut on October 1st, we have an opening date for the VERY COOL Space 220 Restaurant. And EPCOT has been undergoing a MASSIVE transformation, including getting a brand new flagship shop!
That new shop is Creations Shop, and we just learned that it will open on September 15th. And now we know what the sign for the shop will look like, thanks to Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley, who shared a peek at one of the shop’s FIVE signs on Instagram!
What can we say? It looks VERY EPCOT. According to Riddley, “These marquees leverage World Bold font, further tying all our signs and wayfinding into a consistent typography unique to EPCOT. Our design team wanted these portals to fully integrate into the architecture, creating a seamless composition that sweeps from the façade to the ground in one continuous motion, with fully embedded lighting and a signature yellow color.”
Riddley previously unveiled a peek at a large Mickey mural that will also be featured in the shop — and we’ve seen some merchandise that will be exclusive there — we can’t wait to check it out!
We’re keeping an eye on ALL the new stuff happening around Disney World, so be sure to check back with us again soon!

Has anyone tried to order a Mango Margarita from Choza de Margarita lately? I have waited 30 minutes in line multiple times to be told that the machine isn’t functioning. Weirdly people can get a mix of Strawberry Lime and mango. Last time I insisted on one and they begrudgingly gave it to me. Is this a new level of cranky service? Sure seems so. Try this. Anyone else experiencing this?
