Welcome back to Walt Disney World!
The parks are gearing up for the big 50th anniversary celebration, and we’ve seen exciting new additions like a stage, banners, and even some of the first golden character statues! So, is it crowded in Disney World before the anniversary? Let’s find out! Here’s a look at all the average wait times in Disney World from this week.
Magic Kingdom
Starting at Magic Kingdom, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait time this week at 47 minutes!
After that, we had Jungle Cruise at 40 minutes, Peter Pan’s Flight at 35, Haunted Mansion at 26 minutes, Splash Mountain at 25 minutes, Astro Orbiter at 24 minutes, Space Mountain at 23 minutes, and Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 21 minutes.
Following behind was Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at 18 minutes, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at 18 minutes, Pirates of the Caribbean at 17 minutes, and “its a small world” at 13 minutes.
Next, we saw Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid at 11 minutes, Mickey’s PhilharMagic at 11 minutes, Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover at 11 minutes, and Tomorrowland Speedway at 10 minutes.
After that, we had Dumbo the Flying Elephant at 8 minutes, Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini at 8 minutes, Magic Carpets of Aladdin at 8 minutes, Mad Tea Party at 7 minutes, and Prince Charming Regal Carrousel at 7 minutes, Liberty Square Riverboat at 7 minutes.
And attractions with even shorter waits were Country Bear Jamboree at 6 minutes, Carousel of Progress at 4 minutes, Tom Sawyer Island at 3 minutes, Hall of Presidents at 0 minutes, Enchanted Tiki Room at 0 minutes, and Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse at 0 minutes.
EPCOT
Moving on to EPCOT, the ride with the longest average wait was Test Track at 37 minutes!
Then, we had Frozen Ever After at 34 minutes, Soarin’ at 17 minutes, Mission: SPACE at 17 minutes, and Turtle Talk with Crush at 10 minutes.
Rides with even shorter wait times included Gran Fiesta Tour at 9 minutes, Spaceship Earth at 7 minutes, The Seas with Nemo and Friends at 7 minutes, Living with the Land at 7 minutes, and Journey into Imagination at 5 minutes.
The theater shows in EPCOT all had zero waits this past week! These included: Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China!
Hollywood Studios
Now, let’s head to Hollywood Studios, where Slinky Dog Dash had the highest average wait time this week at 53 minutes.
After that, we had Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 42 minutes, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at 38 minutes, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith at 33 minutes, Toy Story Mania at 25 minutes, and Tower of Terror at 24 minutes.
And finally, we had Alien Swirling Saucers at 17 minutes, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy at 16 minutes, Walt Disney Presents at 11 minutes, Muppet*Vision 3D at 10 minutes, and Star Tours – The Adventures Continue at 10 minutes.
Animal Kingdom
Hopping over to Animal Kingdom, the ride with the longest average wait time this week was, yet again, Avatar Flight of Passage at 43 minutes.
Then, we had Na’vi River Journey at 28 minutes, Kali River Rapids at 17 minutes, and Kilimanjaro Safaris at 15 minutes, Expedition Everest at 13 minutes, and DINOSAUR at 11 minutes.
Following behind was It’s Tough to Be a Bug at 8 minutes, Triceratop Spin at 6 minutes, The Boneyard at 0 minutes, and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail at 0 minutes.
That’s your look at the average wait times around Walt Disney World this week! They were a little bit higher this week compared to last, probably due to the Labor Day holiday. Stay tuned to DFB more Disney news and updates!
