Disney World’s 50th anniversary is only a few weeks away!

There are so many ways to celebrate including a new attraction, a new restaurant, golden statues, and brand new entertainment in the parks! One of the ways Disney is celebrating Disney World’s 50th Anniversary is with Walt Disney World Ambassadors, representatives for the park to the world. Today, Disney World’s Global Ambassador for the 50th anniversary was honored with something special on Main Street, U.S.A.

…you’ll spot a brand new window honoring George Kalogridis, the Global Ambassador for Disney World’s 50th anniversary!

George Kalogridis has been working at Disney World since it opened making him one of the 50-year Cast Members!

The new window!

Disney World’s big 50th Anniversary celebration on October 1st is just around the corner and Disney’s got big plans! With new shows like Disney Enchantment in Magic Kingdom, Harmonious in EPCOT, and KiteTails in Animal Kingdom, a new Ratatouille attraction in EPCOT, new EPCOT Food and Wine Festival Booths, new character costumes for Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade, and even 50 golden sculptures of Disney characters!

Cinderella Castle has been redecorated for the 50th Anniversary!
