Disney World is on a roll with restaurants reopening lately!
From Boma to Columbia Harbour House to Casey’s Corner, so many Disney World favorites have come back. Now, the Diamond Horseshoe has officially reopened in Magic Kingdom, and we’re here to give you a first look at our dining experience!
Atmosphere
When we arrived at the Diamond Horseshoe in Frontierland, we checked in at the desk at the front of the restaurant. You can also check-in for reservations through the My Disney Experience app!
And in case you can’t tell, this restaurant is themed to look like an Old West Music Hall.
Seating is standard tables and chairs, and napkins and silverware are in place on the table when you arrive. But we’re here for a Saloon feast, so let’s get to the food!
Menu
The menu for Diamond Horseshoe is an all-you-can-eat family-style meal, and features Tossed Salad as a starter. The Saloon Feast include Roasted Turkey Breast, Pot Roast, Oven-roasted Pork with Mashed Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables, Herb Stuffing, House-made Macaroni & Cheese, and Plant-based Impossible Meatloaf. Dessert is the delicious Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake.
And if that sounds familiar, the menu here is a LOT like the one you get at Liberty Tree Tavern! So if you can’t get a reservation, there, you can try for here. We’re excited that there are now TWO places where you can get that delicious Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake, one of our favorite Disney World desserts! YUM!
The price for the meal is $39 for adults and $21 for children ages 10 and under.
You can access the menu via a card with a QR code on it so you can peruse it on your phone.
Our meal started with the Tossed Salad, which features Mixed Greens, Tomatoes, and Cucumber with Honey-Shallot Vinaigrette. We were also served some warm dinner rolls with butter.
After that, the “Saloon Feast” arrived, and yes, it really is a feast! There’s Oven-roasted Pork, Roasted Turkey Breast, and Pot Roast. We’ve also got some Herb Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, and Macaroni and Cheese. PLUS Gravy in a gravy boat and Cranberry Sauce.
And then dessert happened. And it’s the Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake that we all know and love.
