Sure, staying at a Walt Disney World resort has a few perks, but if you have a larger family, or you want to stay off-property, you might be interested in the Club Wyndham on Bonnet Creek!
There are SO many great options when it comes to hotel accommodations in Orlando, and each resort comes with a different set of pros and cons. If you’re planning a trip to Walt Disney World, come with us as we explore the Club Wyndham hotel so you can see if it’s right for you!
Club Wyndham is a time-share resort that is right next door to the Wyndham Grand Bonnet Creek hotel, which you can see below.
Inside, the lobby looks pretty much like your standard Wyndham hotel lobby, and it looks like the cafe serves Starbucks, too!
There are some grand, dramatic pillars in the lobby, as well as some seating near the check-in counter.
Once we were all checked in, it was time to head to our room! We stayed in a two-bedroom villa that had plenty of space.
Our room opened up to a large living room area with lots of seating and a sofa bed. Outside, we had a balcony with additional seats to take in the Florida views!
The living room had a nice-sized TV and some extra storage. There were some nice, thick curtains to block out the sun as well.
Next to the living room area, there was a small dining area with a table and six seats perfect for that night when your family wants to eat in!
Our two-bedroom villa also came with a full kitchen complete with a full-size refrigerator, an oven, microwave (for those yummy leftovers), and a coffee maker!
Now, moving into the first of the two bedrooms, you can see we had a spacious room with two full-size beds. There was also a large window that almost took up the whole wall!
In addition to the multiple drawers provided below the TV, there was also a closet for hanging up your clothes! No one wants a wrinkly dress, after all!
As you can see, the room was clean and well-furnished! Hotel pillows almost always feel better than home pillows.
In bathroom #1, we had plenty of counter space, a medium-sized mirror, and a bathtub/shower combo.
Who doesn’t love free stuff?! Our room came with complimentary soaps and shampoos — lemon sage scented!
Moving to the second bedroom, you will see a large king-size bed with a fan overhead. There was also a small room divider that separated the bathroom area.
As you can see, each room came with a TV, closet, and plenty of extra storage.
Across from bedroom #2 was a large bathroom!
This bathroom had a large soaking tub separate from the shower.
Now, for the fun part: the pool! There are several pools on the property including TWO pools with a lazy river. We visited the main pool near the check-in building.
As you can see, the lazy river is pretty big, and has plenty of pool floaties to go around!
The pool area had plenty of seating, perfect for those that want to lay in the sun on a nice day!
After a long day in the parks, the hot tub might be just what you need to soak your feet and relax!
That wraps up our tour of the Club Wyndham on Bonnet Creek! We truly enjoyed our stay and thought that the room was pretty comparable to many of the Deluxe Disney Resorts. The two-bedroom villa can sleep 8 people, making it a great option for larger families and prices range from $180-$430 each night. The hotel is quite close to Walt Disney World — it’s only about a 10-minute drive to the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and only a 7 minute trip to Disney’s Hollywood Studios!

The Wyndham bonnet creek has sooo much more to offer than this article states!!! 6 pools including that you can use the grand’s pool, 2 water slides and 2 lazy rivers, mini golf, lots of good dining options, etc. Just because you are staying in one tower doesn’t mean you are limited to that specific tower’s amenities. This hotel is huge!! You guys should think about expanding on this article!

I love that Club Wyndham has a lazy river. It would be perfect, if there were also waterslides!

Do they offer transport to the parks?

Tracey, they do! Click here to see what they offer.

We stayed here in November 2020 and loved it! The accommodations were better than we expected. We ate breakfast in our room and even cooked dinner a couple times. We drove to the parks everyday, but it did not take us 10 minutes to get to any of them. I don’t think we will stay inside the parks again. This place was just to nice and very affordable. We didn’t get to go to any of the pools, the weather was colder than usual that week. I would recommend staying here if you are wanting to save money.

We always stay here in a condo when visiting WDW! If you have a really large group look into the 4 bedroom Presidential Suites! You won’t be disappointed!

Uh oh. My secret spot isn’t secret anymore! Have been staying here for probably 10 years. Fantastic resort. Blows Disney resorts out of the water!

I am an owner and have always had a fantastic experience at this resort. I have to agree with Cat q, though. The Bonnet Creek resort has way more to offer than this article details.

The Signia Hilton Bonnet Creek is near the Wyndham Bonnet Creek. It also has an amazing lazy river and a water slide. They have free bus shuttle service to all the Disney parks. When we were there, the hot tub needed updating. The grounds were beautiful. There were a lot of nice restaurants. The Wyndham lobby looks more elegant than the Signia. The rooms at the Wyndham look like they offer more than Signia. I guess wherever you get the best rate. I don’t think you could be disappointed staying at either resort. The Waldorf Astoria is behind the Signia. When we were in Orlando in September, there was a lot of construction going on at the Waldorf. Enough that it would have ruined it for me. The Signia wasn’t stuffy at all. Very relaxed. My daughter’s stayed at Wyndham and Signia and loved both places. We had Hilton points so that also played a role.

We have stayed at both the Wyndham Grand hotel and at the Wyndham Club. They are both excellent. If we are not staying in a Disney resort we stay at the Wyndham Grand. There are so many pools you can try and they are all different. The food at the pool bar at the hotel is the best on property. Getting to the parks and Disney Springs is so easy and convenient and you aren’t far from shopping and dining outside of Disney.

I’ve had my eye on this resort for a vacation I’m planning for June 2023. I’ve heard non-owners can have trouble getting some dates because Club Wyndham blacks them out. Does anyone have knowledge or suggestions on this?
