Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with What’s New at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
And, we’ve got plenty of updates to share with you! So, what are you waiting for? Let us know in the comments below!
Hollywood Studios Food Update
Popcorn and Drink Stands
The Sweet Poison Cocktail is still sticking around the drink carts for now as the Fall flavors take over the parks. The drink is filled with coconut rum, blue Curaçao beverage syrup, rum, and pineapple juice with a glow cube and a lemon wedge to garnish.
While we check by to see if there were any Halloween sippers or popcorn buckets, Hollywood Studios hasn’t stocked them just yet! But, we will keep an eye out!
Hollywood Studios Merchandise Update
Darkroom
Honestly, all the Marvel news recently has just made us SUPER excited for the next phase of shows and films! But, you can still throw it back to an OG character with the Iron Man Phone Case for $34.99.
Legends of Hollywood
It’s Dooney season over in Legends of Hollywood because TWO new collections are on the shelves of the store! You can find the new Disney Cat Dooneys with your favorite feline friends…
…like Marie, Lucifer, Cheshire, Figaro, and more!
There were even the new Disney Parks Icons Dooneys on the shelves…
…with satchels…
…crossbody bags…
…totes…
…and mini backpacks to take with you for some extra magic in the parks.
Sunset Ranch Pins
While we spotted the Nightmare Before Christmas Pins around the end of August in time for the start of spooky season, now they have made their way to Sunset Ranch too! You can find your favorite Halloween Town characters like Jack, Sally, the Mayor, and Oogie Boogie on the pins for $9.99 to $12.99.
Pin Trading Trash Can
If you want a unique pin trading experience, you can go chill out with “Jojo the Pin Trading Trash Can” in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Since Jojo obviously doesn’t have any arms or hands, a Cast Member nearby helped trade with us in Jojo’s honor…
…and we took home a Dodger Pet House Pin…
…and Country Bear Pin! (Shoutout to the adorable Cast Member who named the trash can!)
Hollywood Studios Entertainment Update
Crowds
The past few weeks have been VERY quiet in Disney World since the school semester started and summer ended. However, Labor Day brought in quite a few people that have stuck around for the most part in Hollywood Studios!
Many of the attractions had longer queues and higher wait times than we’ve seen in weeks…
…with wait times climbing throughout the day and into the afternoon.
The restaurants were even more crowded than we’ve seen as an influx of people stopped at the quick-service and table-service spots around the park.
But, the crowds did dip during the rainy days, so you might want to stick around in Hollywood Studios (even if it starts to pour)!
Well, that’s all for this What’s New at Disney’s Hollywood Studios! We’ll catch you next time for more updates. And, if you have questions about your upcoming vacation, let us know so we can help you find the answers! Stay tuned with DFB for the latest Disney entertainment and news!

Thank you so much for taking the time to really break down what updates are happening in Hollywood Studios. It has been a while since I have been. It will be a while before I am able to go back too as I live in Australia, so being able to see what they are changing and updating is so helpful. It makes me a little home sick! I will be excited to see what it is like with the new Genie planning service and will be taking advantage of it for sure next time I am in the park.
Do you think the covid has had a difference at all to the overall crowds lately or has it been in this pretty much the same for all parks now? It’s always a bit funny to see any Disneyland and World looking as quiet as it does in the photos you posted above. I remember when I first when to Disneyland in 2003 it was so quiet compared to how it is now, its crazy to see how things change with the years. I hope when I am able to go back it will be just as an amazing experience, who am I kidding I know it will be!

Glad my pin trading trash can is getting famous!! We debuted it back in early 2019 and I’m glad it’s still around!
