Disney World’s 50th anniversary is almost here!!
SO many things are happening for the celebration, like a new ride opening, a new cavalcade, and a new fireworks show — Disney Enchantment. The show will take place at Magic Kingdom and replace Happily Ever After during the 18-month celebration. Along with the show, Disney is also hosting several dessert parties you can attend, and reservations are now open for the parties!
Magic Kingdom will be hosting a pre-party, a treats and seats party, and an after party for the fireworks show. There will also be a party held at the top of Disney’s Contemporary Resort called Celebration at the Top: Flavors and Fireworks. Reservations for all 4 parties are open right now!
When we were booking reservations this morning, we did run into a few odd glitches, though. Some of the parties were just not showing any availability, but when we refreshed the page, Buzz Lightyear kept showing up to tell us the date we were choosing was unavailable.
But then, when kept refreshing, suddenly times and dates would pop up again! So, just be aware that we had to refresh the page a lot in order to book a couple of the parties.
You can book the parties through Walt Disney World’s website or on the My Disney Experience App! Stay tuned, because we’ll be at all of the parties to give you a full review!

Quin F. says
It appears that Flavors & Fireworks is not happening every night, only random nights in October and Nov. Will they add more dates? Or open for regular dining on the other nights? It truly makes no sense to me to not host the event nightly given demand and let the restaurant sit empty.
