Steve says
I appreciate the advice about waiting to upgrade current park tickets to annual passes until after all the park passes have been used. If I buy Memory Maker before my trip and then upgrade to an annual pass with the PhotoPass option at the end of my trip, will the $169 that I pay for Memory Maker be applied to the price of the annual pass? If I do not pay for Memory Maker in advance, will I be able to download all the photos from my trip if I wait until the end of my trip to buy an annual pass with the PhotoPass option?
Janice says
Is there going to be a pass, like the former Premier Pass, that is good for both Disneyland and Walt Disney World?
DFB Sarah says
Janice, so far Disney has not announced one.
DFB Sarah says
Steve, I think you’ll want to reach out to Disney directly to see what they say on this point. I haven’t yet heard answers to your questions.
Debbie says
Debating if I should buy AP now for my BBC trip in February. I understand that the pass would be good for a year from the first visit at a park, but is there a chance I could get an AP room discount if I buy it now instead of waiting until I arrive and upgrading my 10 day ticket? I would upgrade on the the first day of arrival so I can get food and merch discounts for length of stay.
DFB Sarah says
Debbie, the policy has been that you can get a room-only AP discount before you activate your AP. So if you bought one now and connected it to your My Disney Experience account, you could potentially find an offer between now and then and grab it when you see it. If you’re not sure about how that works, give the VIPassholder line a call and talk to them about it.
