Disney World’s 50th anniversary is almost here!
SO much special stuff is happening for the celebrations, like dessert parties, new fireworks, a new cavalcade, and more! And Disney just keeps announcing new stuff, like a special celebration that will take place at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
California Grill, the famous restaurant located at the top of the Contemporary, will begin serving a limited time celebration menu on October 3rd!
The new menu will evoke the spirit of 1971 — the opening year of Walt Dinsey Resort and the former restaurant that California Grill now occupies, Top of the World! Disney says it will celebrate the past while offering a nod to the incredible future ahead.
The meal will be prix-fixe and include 3 courses with dishes like Braised Short Rib Wontons, Florida Coast Black Grouper, and the 50th Anniversary Celebration Dessert Grand Marnier Soufflé.
The cost is $89 per adult and $39 per child (ages 3-9), plus tax and gratuity.
Dining up in California Grill will also give you a special viewing of Disney Enchantment — the new fireworks show coming to Magic Kingdom for the anniversary!
We’ll definitely be checking out this new dining experience, so stay tuned to DFB for a full review!
