Disney World sometimes has exclusive merchandise, which only certain guests can buy.
You’ll have to be an Annual Passholder to buy some things, a Disney Vacation Club Member for others, or maybe even a member of D23 (Disney’s official fan club) to get certain items. The new MagicBand we found in Disney World is one of these exclusive items — find out if you’ll be able to buy it!
This new MagicBand is decorated for the 50th Anniversary Celebration. We have seen this in the park but Disney World Annual Passholder’s or a guest at one of Disney World’s hotels can get it at a discount. Thanks to our reader Joe (@schreiberjoe on Instagram) for letting us know about this!
This new MagicBand is white with gold details and the Cinderella Castle on one side. The castle is pictured with its 50th Anniversary makeover, including the big “50” sign that adorns the front.
On the other side, there are more gold details with the words “the World’s Most Magical Celebration” plus a 50th logo clip.
If you qualify, you can pre-order the MagicBand for $20 now. Or you can get it in the parks for $34.99.
Annual Passholders and Disney World resort guests should see this band as an option when they book their Disney World vacation. This isn’t the only exclusive MagicBand for the celebrations — another came out last month and has been selling out quickly.
If you’re hoping to get one or both of these bands, we recommend buying them as soon as possible!

Carey says
We will be staying at a Disney resort (Shades of Green) in April 2022. How/where do you order the 50th Anniversary Magic Band now? Haven’t purchased tickets yet, waiting for the Salute Tickets to be released. I assume I need to purchase those and add to my account first?
Alan says
How do you order the band
Kim says
I can’t find these for pre-order. Where should I be looking?
Maite says
Where can I pre-order the 50th Anniversary MagicBand?
DFB Sarah says
Maite, if you have a trip planned and linked in My Disney Experience, you may see the MagicBand when you click MagicBands and Cards in your account. You’ll see the available options and their pre-arrival pricing.
DFB Sarah says
Alan (and others who are wondering how to order this), if you have a trip planned and linked to My Disney Experience, you can click MagicBands and Cards to see the pre-arrival options. We do hear that popular Bands sometimes don’t show up; you may want to try logging in at another time to check.
DFB Sarah says
Carey, if you have your Resort stay linked to My Disney Experience, I’d expect you to be able to see the pre-arrival options under My MagicBands and Cards, even without tickets.
David Chin says
Why didn’t you post the links to where you go to buy any of these items?
DFB Sarah says
David, they’re available only when logged into My Disney Experience with a trip attached to the account. Click My MagicBands and Cards to see if it’s available.
Margaret says
I am really disappointed that 50th anniversary merchandise is already being sold on eBay. Uk. Why do people have to spoil the excitement going to Disney to buy it there. These people are just sell at overrated price please don’t buy from them
