Space 220 FINALLY opened today in EPCOT!
We’ve been waiting what feels like forever for this Future World food spot to open. The anticipation has been building as well, with us getting a sneak peek inside, finding out what’s on the menus, and seeing the signs finally go up! And, we haven’t been the only ones waiting to eat here, according to the opening day lines we saw this morning!
Now, you may be thinking, why would there be lines for a table service restaurant? Well, Disney announced last week that from September 20th through September 26th, Space 220 would only be accepting walk-ins. So, since today is the first day, we expected many people to be trying to get a table. There were a decent amount of people waiting at the gates well before park open.
Then, we got inside the park and had to wait just to get in to Future World!
We were eventually allowed in, and the crowd of people headed toward the restaurant.
Once we got there, the crowd seemed even bigger!
So many people are waiting to try and eat at this new spot.
We wonder if crowds will look like this all week, or if it’s just this busy for opening day.
We got a little closer, and were put into a more organized line as we moved toward the restaurant.
Luckily, we already have reporters inside, so you can already check out what the new restaurant is like! However, some of our other reporters have been waiting in line for 4 hours and counting😅.
Definitely make sure to bring some sunscreen if you’re planning on waiting in this line to eat!
We’re doing a full review of Space 220, so stay tuned to see what we think of this new EPCOT spot!

We are visiting from far west Texas on October , definitively wouldn’t do this line and waste so much time for this , the great news is that we got a reservation ready for one of our days in Epcot. We are excited to have this experience.
