Space 220 is one of the most highly-anticipated new restaurants at Disney World.
We’ve already seen the menus that will be available when it opens, some possible drinks they’ll be serving, concept art for the dining experience, and the restaurant’s new sign. In fact, we’ve even taken a look inside Space 220 itself. Now, all that’s left is to share this BIG news about reservations for the new restaurant!
Reservations are available NOW for Space 220, and we have all the details you’ll want to know! From today — September 20th, 2021 — through September 26th, 2021, Space 220 is only accepting walk-ins. But, also starting today, you can make reservations for September 27th, 2021 or later.
Space 220 will be a dining experience unlike any other. Guests will enter the restaurant and dine “220 miles above EPCOT.” Sweeping views of space will surround diners, and the menu is said to feature internationally-inspired cuisine and include over 1,000 bottles of wine!
As this will be the first new table service restaurant that has opened in Future World for quite some time, we anticipate the demand for this dining experience to be VERY HIGH. Our recommendation is to prioritize this reservation and book Space 220 THE MOMENT your 60-day window opens! If you miss out and can’t find a reservation, KEEP CHECKING! Plans change all the time and it’s very possible you can find an open reservation as your trip approaches.
This new restaurant will have a multi-course prix-fixe menu, with dishes like Blue Moon Cauliflower…
…Galactic Lobster Globe…
…Space Greens…
…and Sticky Toffee Pudding!

If you are not staying at a Walt Disney World resort or do not yet have a resort booked, you can make your dining reservation 60 days before the date you are looking to dine. You can book through My Disney Experience, by calling (407) WDW-DINE, or online on Disney Wold’s website.

Rachel Brown says
Are they already fully booked? I couldn’t find any available times for the next 60 days. Crazy!!
Liz says
Has anyone successfully booked? I don’t see any availability for any day any time or any qty of people
Ray says
Tried to make reservations for November at 6am this morning. No luck. It was there when I logged on my Disney experience app but when I selected my time, it hourglasses for a bit and then said try again
JimO says
No luck either. I was online before 6am (ET) (Mon 9/20) and could never get through successfully — almost got a lunch res for Nov 5 at 11:50am but system couldn’t complete — I kept getting system errors and try again later for the first hour I was trying. After that, no availability for any day during my stay, lunch or dinner.
Cheryl says
I tried to get a reservation right after midnight (12:01 a.m. 9/20/21) and NOTHING. How can there not be one reservation time available when the window to book just opened?
Cheryl says
I got a table for 5 on October 23 and my brother got a table for 3 on the 24th. Reservations opened at least around 5:40am and the system started crashing around 5:48. Anybody who didn’t get a reservation then probably wasn’t going to get one unless you stalk cancellations.
christine Germano says
I heard they opened reservations at 5:30am instead of 6:00am like they told us. So it was sold out by 6am. Disney seems to have done us dirty?
Noelle says
I was successful in getting a slot for 2 in November . We are on the west coast so I got up and logged on right at 3:00am and it took me 3 tries to secure a time. The first couple of times I had a time but by the time I got to confirmation it timed out. The other thing I noticed was that it didn’t show up at first but when I filtered it to unique themed dining options is when I saw the times available. Like I said I did as soon as it opened up this morning and there was only 2 times to select from by the time I got through. We are looking forward to this experience, hope it lives up to the hype.
Karie says
I have not been able to book it for any dates 60 days out at 6am est
DFB Sarah says
Karie, that’s what we’re hearing as well.
DFB Sarah says
Christine, I’m not sure Disney guarantees its start time for online reservations (frequently this system has flaws…), but I believe you’re right that they were available in the five o’clock hour.
DFB Sarah says
Cheryl, my understanding is the reservations opened in the five o’clock hour.
Don says
Oh Disney…how the Magic has gone. Now the most stressful place on earth, sorry Walt.
Jarissa says
DFB Staff — when I call WDW-DINE, I hear a message saying that only __people who had dining reservations get cancelled due to the shutdown in 2020__ are eligible to make Disney Dining reservations via phone.
It also says that once phone assistance for Disney Dining advance reservations is available to other callers, Disney will announce it.
Have you heard about this policy? Is this a new thing? Or a leftover message from prior months?
DFB Sarah says
Jarissa, team members tell me they haven’t been hearing this message at all recently, so we’re thinking it might be a glitch. There’s definitely been a push to have folks make ADRs online, but we haven’t heard this 2020 messaging in recent days. I would suggest giving them a call back or trying to chat with a Cast Member online.
Jarissa says
DFB Sarah, thank you! That’s a relief.
