Helllllo from Walt Disney World!
It’s an exciting time right now as we are less than a week out from the big 50th anniversary celebration! But, what did the crowds look like before the big day? We like to keep up with how lines are looking in the parks, so here’s a look at all the average wait times in Disney World from this week.
Magic Kingdom
Time to go to Magic Kingdom! This week, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait time with 47 minutes!
After that, we had Jungle Cruise at 41 minutes, Peter Pan’s Flight at 36 minutes, Haunted Mansion at 28 minutes, Astro Orbiter at 25 minutes, Space Mountain at 24 minutes, Splash Mountain at 21 minutes, Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 21 minutes, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at 16 minutes, Pirates of the Caribbean at 15 minutes, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at 13 minutes.
Next, we saw “its a small world” at 12 minutes, Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover at 11, Mickey’s PhilharMagic at 10 minutes, Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid at 10 minutes.
Following behind was Prince Charming Regal Carrousel at 8 minutes, Tomorrowland Speedway at 8 minutes, Magic Carpets of Aladdin at 8 minutes, Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini at 8 minutes, Dumbo the Flying Elephant at 7 minutes, and Mad Tea Party at 6 minutes, and Carousel of Progress at 5 minutes.
At the lower end, we had Liberty Square Riverboat at 3 minutes, Country Bear Jamboree at 1 minute, Tom Sawyer Island at 1 minute, Hall of Presidents at 0 minutes, Enchanted Tiki Room at 0 minutes, and Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse at 0 minutes.
EPCOT
Over in EPCOT, the ride with the longest average wait was Test Track at 38 minutes!
Then, significantly lower, we had Frozen Ever After at 37 minutes, Mission: SPACE at 20 minutes, Soarin’ at 16 minutes, and Turtle Talk with Crush at 10 minutes.
Rides with even shorter wait times included Gran Fiesta Tour at 8 minutes, The Seas with Nemo and Friends at 8 minutes, Living with the Land at 7 minutes, Spaceship Earth at 6 minutes, and Journey into Imagination at 5 minutes.
The theater shows in EPCOT all had zero waits this past week! These included: Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China!
Hollywood Studios
Moving on to Hollywood Studios, Slinky Dog Dash had the highest average wait time this week at 53 minutes.
After that, we had Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 38 minutes, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at 37 minutes, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith at 31 minutes Toy Story Mania at 29 minutes, and Tower of Terror at 28 minutes.
And finally, we had Alien Swirling Saucers at 18 minutes, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy at 11 minutes, Muppet*Vision 3D at 10 minutes, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue at 10 minutes, and Walt Disney Presents at 8 minutes.
Animal Kingdom
Hopping over to Animal Kingdom, the ride with the longest average wait time this week was Avatar Flight of Passage at 45 minutes.
Then, we had Na’vi River Journey at 30 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris at 13 minutes, and Kali River Rapids at 12 minutes, and Expedition Everest at 12 minutes.
Following behind was It’s Tough to Be a Bug at 9 minutes, DINOSAUR at 8 minutes, Triceratop Spin at 5 minutes, The Boneyard at 0 minutes, and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail at 0 minutes.
