Anyone remember Relaxation Stations?
Relaxation Stations were a great spots to unwind and escape the busy theme parks! These were originally added when Disney World first reopened last year as a place for guests to remove their face masks, but they have since closed in each park. But, there are still places to relax in Disney World and we wanted to show you one of the best spots in Magic Kingdom!
Over in Storybook Circus, the yellow tent has reopened after a quick closure and paint job! Tucked away in the back of Magic Kingdom next to Pete’s Silly Side Show, we wanted to remind you that this is a great hidden spot to take a break.
There aren’t any FuelRod stations in this tent any more, but there’s plenty of seating and outlets to charge your phone. This is a great way to recharge from a long day at Magic Kingdom while you also recharge your phone! Although the Tangled bathrooms in Fantasyland have outlets, you are not guaranteed shade when you sit there.
If you’re in Magic Kingdom and need a hidden hideaway from the hectic hustle and bustle of the park, stop by Storybook Circus and enjoy the charging tent!

Disney will probably be “charging” for the charging stations before long.

My favorite resting/charging area in MK is by Pirates next to the bathroom. There’s benches and a great spot to ride out any random storms that pass through.

Do you know of anyplace a two year old can rest for an hour. When coming from the west coast they do not plan to arrive early in am, but resting or nap time can be about 4:30 (16:30). Looking for suggestions the child is almost 3. Many years ago the area used for entrance for fast pass now genie plus or DAS had benches and it was dark and quiet. I used it for two children. Now I have no idea what area is left!

Pam, our friends at AllEars have some parent guides to the four Parks, and each offers suggested locations that are a little off the beaten path, quieter, and often shadier (darker) for naps. Here’s the Magic Kingdom page; you’ll find the other three Parks linked from here as well.
