Starting in 2022, all you’ll need to do to get some extra magic at home and at the Disney World hotels is say “Hey, Disney!” Disney recently shared that they’ve created their own “custom assistant, using Disney stories, characters, and more,” built onto the Amazon Alexa technology.

Whether you’re at home or in a Disney World Hotel room, you’ll be able to say “Hey, Disney!” to your Amazon Alexa device to unlock features that’ll make your vacation easier and more fun, or simply be entertained. This special offering will include “authentic character voices, unique audio environments inspired by [Disney’s] films and destinations, and more than a thousand magical interactions to discover.” There will even be a few surprises along the way!
