Is there anything better than new fireworks in Disney World!?
Yes, it sure was hard to say goodbye to Happily Ever After a few days ago, but we get a WHOLE NEW show with Disney Enchantment debuting in Magic Kingdom. Of course, we made sure to get a good view of the new show for its media DEBUT, and now we’re taking you along with us to watch it!
Disney Enchantment is the new Magic Kingdom fireworks debuting in honor of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary and we have been SO excited to see it. The show features new fireworks, all-new projections that extend down Main Street, U.S.A., AND a new score!
Well, buckle up, because we got to see it for the first time! First, guests were able to catch a performance from Christina Aguilera!

It’s simply dazzling to watch!
There was even a lovely section from Alice in Wonderland with designs by Mary Blair!
Wow! It’s incredible to think that we got TWO new fireworks shows in Disney World back-to-back!
It had a hard act to follow with Happily Ever After, but we have to say that Disney Enchantment was pretty darn impressive.
We even spotted Tinker Bell soaring above Magic Kingdom!

Nice of you to stay so neutral about this disaster of a show but I wouldn’t expect the blog to post anything negative about their revenue stream. Let’s be real the soundtrack sucks, hands down. For Disney to produce something that made me feel nothing is just short of depressing. The night time shows are something we really look forward to in the parks and I am so bummed this is what I am stuck with when we go next year. A resounding Boo…..

Tepid fireworks, unexciting music, and laser images on the Castle = disappointment. Enchantment lacks pizzazz.
If Disney wants the Magic Kingdom to once again be “the happiest place on Earth” just bring back the wonderful Main Street Electrical Parade. It was exciting to view and hear, could be experienced up close along its full route (without paying $$$$ for a view and mediocre snacks), and was great FUN for ALL ages!
If loyal visitors could vote on this, MSEP would win by a landslide.

Disney is offering a fireworks desert package at Tomorrowland terrace, is this a good place to watch the fireworks given the view of Main Street is questionable
DFB Sarah says
Gary, that’s a fair point. From Tomorrowland Terrace, you don’t get the full effect of the projections on Main Street, U.S.A.. One of the dessert packages with Plaza Garden standing views would likely offer a better perspective for those.
