The 50th Anniversary celebrations have finally arrived at Disney World!

Let’s do this!

We’ve got new attractions, restaurants, entertainment, fireworks, merchandise, and most of all, SNACKS! We’ve been trying quite a few treats around the parks, and now it’s time for a classic Disney World staple. 

In Magic Kingdom during the 50th Anniversary celebrations, you can find the new Royal 50th Churros at snack carts around the park (but we made our way over to Frontierland for ours)!

It’s no surprise that the Royal 50th Churros just LOOK magical as they are rolled in strawberry sugar, drizzled with marshmallow cream, and topped with shimmer sprinkles. Oh, and did we mention you even get a side of chocolate dipping sauce as well for the finishing touch!

While other churros like the Dumbo Churro weren’t our favorite, the Royal 50th Churro was a hit! The strawberry, marshmallow, and chocolate flavors were a great combo that melted in your mouth. But, it’s important to know that this treat is very sweet.

Paint It Blue or Pink!

If you’re traveling with kids or people with a big sweet tooth, though, they’ll probably be BIG fans on this take on a traditional Disney dessert! While we could have done with less strawberry sugar to curb a bit of the sweetness, it’s still a great pick to celebrate the 50th anniversary.
