Happy 50th anniversary, Disney World! We’re so excited about the big celebration that’s happening at the parks!
And to quote Mickey Mouse, “Oh, Boy!” It has been a busy past few days. We’ve been checking out the new character cavalcade, the new character EARidescent outfits, the SNACKS (ALWAYS the snacks), and more! And of course, we’re SO excited about the NEW Disney Enchantment Fireworks!
Speaking of fireworks, we also got a chance to check out the return of Fireworks Dessert Parties at Magic Kingdom! Tonight, we’re checking out the brand new dessert parties!
Disney Enchantment Treats and Seats
Disney Enchantment Treats and Seats costs $114 per adult and $69 per child, making it the most expensive of the 3 parties. Note that theme park admission is required but not included in the cost, so you’ll need to have a ticket you can use to get into the park.
We checked in at Tomorrowland Terrace and received a wristband to note which fireworks dessert party we were apart of. If you are over the age of 21, you’ll be given an extra wristband.
Although the event is not set to start until 8PM, we were let in about 30 minutes early, so it’s worth checking in early if you have time! Cast Members seat you, so guests do not get to choose where they sit.
We were brought to a table out on the Tomorrowland Terrace patio and admired the view!
No complaints here!
And did we mention a LOVELY view of Cinderella Castle? 🏰✨ pic.twitter.com/kQORWb64q7

Now onto the food! There are LOTS of desserts to choose from including a Chilling Chamber Pop, Oreo Cheesecake Mousse, and Devil’s Chocolate Pudding…

Here’s a look at everything we tried!
As we mentioned above, alcohol is included in the price of admission.

There are plenty of non alcoholic options as well. Yep, that’s right — it’s the famous POG juice!

After we noshed on some delicious Disney desserts, it was time for Disney Enchantment to begin!
This is truly a great spot to watch the fireworks, and we’re excited that fireworks dessert parties are back.
Disney Enchantment After Party
We were also able to visit the Disney Enchantment After Party. This particular dessert party costs $99 per adult (ages 10 and up) and $59 per child (ages 3 to 9) and happens AFTER the big show. Before the fireworks began, we checked into Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant at 8PM, but were also let in early.
As the showtime neared, Cast Members escorted us to the Plaza Garden viewing area. Note that this is standing room only.
There was still plenty of room in the standing area!
Then we watched the fireworks! We’re not crying (yes, yes, we are).
Even though we didn’t have a seat, the view was incredible!
After the fireworks, Cast Members escorted us back to Tomorrowland Terrace, where we feasted on a host of beautiful and delicious treats, including some themed around the 50th anniversary.
These are the exact same treats that we tried at the Treats and Seats party — the biggest difference between these parties is that one guarantees a seat and the other is standing only.
The third party called Disney Enchantment Pre-Party is essentially the same as the After Party, but you eat the desserts BEFORE Disney Enchantment starts. The price and standing areas are the same, it just depends on when you want to eat your dessert: before or after the fireworks show!
If you want to know more, we will have a full review of the new fireworks dessert parties soon. We’ll be covering EVERY detail of Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebrations, so stay tuned for more!

Have you ever booked a Disney World Fireworks Dessert Party? What did you think about it? Let us know in the comments!
Jessi says
Looking forward to attending the dessert party in a few weeks!
Is the food served buffet style? Is it unlimited, all you care to enjoy or one beverage per person?
Jeremy says
looks so disappointing, they increased the price but took so many selections away. no more ice cream Sunday bar, no more smores station, no more cup cakes, no more spring rolls, and so much more. looks like they only offer a few limited desserts and cheeses. really a shame disney of skimping here when you pay so much.

Jessi, the dessert parties are all-you-care-to-enjoy, and you serve yourself. Have fun!
Jlk says
So three options look to be pudding type desserts. No!!! cause I hate pudding! How about a little more variety. Never thought I’d say this but throw in a cookie or cupcake. Cheese ! that’s it!!! Very disappointing.
Emily says
Can you take a wheelchair into the plaza viewing area? One of our group can only stand for very short periods and can only walk short distances so would need a their wheelchair for the fireworks
DFB Sarah says
Emily, I do not think that would be a problem. You could reach out to Disney to confirm and/or add this information to your reservation, if possible.
Jerri Myers says
if you do the pre party do you get first choice on where to stand in the reserved section? Also with the after how much time do you get before they encourage you to leave with park closing?
Amy says
Great info!! We are planning on attending our first dessert party in October (treats & seats). I’ve tried to randomly check reservations and its always booked solid. Any tips on securing reservations at 60 days out? Is it 7am like other ADR’s. It is stressing me out thinking I might not be able to get seats for my family of 4. Any tips appreciated. Love your content.
Christian says
Is every seat a good seat in the seated dessert party? Some of the views appear obstructed by the ceiling in the picture posted and I assume they don’t want guests standing at the seated party.
