Happy 50th Anniversary, Disney World! We’ve really been enjoying the celebration all over the resort!
We’ve eaten SO MANY 50th anniversary treats, like a pineapple upside down cake with blue frosting, celebratory donuts, and LOADS of cupcakes! We’ve had our share of 50th anniversary drinks, too — but some have stood out from the rest!
Joffrey’s created four distinctive drinks for Disney World’s 50th anniversary — one for each park. So far we’ve tried two of those drinks (the Golden Savannah and the Golden Stardust) and they were both big hits with us. Now we’re trying the other two to see how they compare. Will Joffrey’s winning 50th anniversary streak continue? Let’s find out!
First, we tried out Joffrey’s 50th anniversary drink at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It’s called the Golden Age (very appropriate for the park) and is a creamy Passion Fruit Frappe topped with Whipped Cream and EARidescent Yellow and Gold Sprinkles. And yes, it DOES look golden!
Joffrey’s has ANOTHER 50th anniversary winner here. This drink tastes like our beloved POG juice (which makes sense since Passion Fruit is one component of that). Like the other two drinks we tried, it’s very refreshing and delicious. Now we’ll warn you that this one is sweet, so if you don’t like sweet frappes, you might not like it as much as we did.
Just look at how pretty it is — it goes to show that a treat doesn’t have to be blue to celebrate Disney World’s birthday. We found this drink at the Joffrey’s near Tower of Terror for $6.39.
We also made our way over to Magic Kingdom to try the Golden Shooting Star, which is a creamy Strawberry Frappe topped with Whipped Cream and EARidescent Pink and Gold Sprinkles. This is the last Joffrey’s 50th anniversary drink on our list — does it live up to the others?
Well, we found this one refreshing, too. However, again, this drink is pretty sweet, so keep that in mind if you plan on trying it.
The main flavor you get here IS strawberry, and although we found it to taste slightly artificial, we think strawberry fans will still love it. This would also be a hit with kids, who tend to like sweeter beverages! The pink and gold sprinkles on top are also a nice touch.
So although the Golden Shooting Star isn’t our FAVORITE of the four Joffrey’s drinks, it’s still a winner in our book. Joffrey’s has done a great job creating four delicious drinks to represent each park at Disney World, and we have no problem recommending them all! You can find the Golden Shooting Star at Joffrey’s Revive for $6.39.
We’re continuing to eat and drink all the 50th anniversary treats at Disney World, so stay tuned for more reviews.

Did not think Joffrey’s was anything but coffee

Ken, Joffrey’s offers lots of slushies and smoothies, too! And they vary by season, events, etc., so we check them out regularly.
