Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser will be opening on March 1, 2022 at Walt Disney World!

The hotel is going to be completely immersive, with characters, storylines, and activities to make you feel like you’re actually in the world of Star Wars. Much of this is included in the cost of your stay, but there will be other experiences you can add on, and we just learned the cost of one special experience!
During your time on the Galactic Starcruiser, you will eat meals in the Crown of Corellia Dining Room, which will have entertainment and “distinctive” dining, according to Disney.

Earlier this year we learned about an add-on to the dinner experience here called the the Captain’s Table! This is a table set directly in the center of the dining room that will give you “an especially memorable dinner experience.” Sitting here will include extra courses of the Captain’s favorite dishes!

When this post was initially published, the cost of adding this on to your meal was $30 per person, plus tax, for one night; however, as of January 1, 2023, the price for the Captain’s Table has increased to $50 per person, plus tax, for one night.

Note that if you do choose to add-on the Captain’s Table to your dinner one night, you will be seated with other Guests. So, you’ll be sharing the experience with other groups.

To book this add on, you will need to call your Galactic Starcruiser Specialist at any time before your Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser adventure. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members will be allowed to make reservations for the hotel early, from October 7th-October 9th, and general bookings for everyone else begin on October 28th.

For as much as they are charging for the SW Galactic Cruiser experience, only really rich people can afford to go and for them the $30 extra will be chump change. I’m surprised that they didn’t start charging for the air. You’re on a space cruiser, so you’re supposed to be breathing bottled air.
