Although a lot has returned to normal in Disney World, we’re still missing a few things in the parks.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
One of the most notable absences has been some of the entertainment, including some shows and character meetings. Today, Disney announced the return of select events, and we’re so excited to see them come back! One of the returning shows is happening soon in Disney’s most glamorous park.
“Disney Movie Magic” is a nighttime projections show in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios Entrance
The show premiered a few years ago, but it didn’t come back when the park reopened last year. Now, however, it’s finally returning! You’ll be able to see the Movie Magic once again starting November 7th, 2021.
Chinese Theatre
The show casts projections from live-action Disney movies on the Chinese Theatre, featuring scenes like those from Indiana Jones and Pirates of the Caribbean. Disney has announced that there will be NEW scenes showing this time, from Disney’s live-action version of Mulan.

Hollywood Studios has another nighttime projections show, called Wonderful World of Animation, that also shows on the Chinese Theatre. Disney hasn’t announced yet how the schedule will work for the two shows, or if Wonderful World of Animation will stop showing. We’ll keep an eye out for more information on that.
