Are you headed to Disney World next week?
You’re in for a good time! After all, the 50th Anniversary celebrations have begun! We want to make sure you have the best time possible, so we’re bringing you a FULL update on next week’s weather in Disney World — plus some tips on how to be prepared!
Weather Forecast
According to The Weather Channel, this week is going to bring us some SUNNY days. That’s right, another week with NO rain in the forecast.
We saw some storms last week, so we’re pretty pumped that we might get to stay dry this week. Let’s take a look at the day-to-day forecast and then some tips for how to pack and prep for your trip!
October 11th
Monday, October 11th will start the week with temperatures that are pretty close to what we’ve been seeing. We’re still hanging out in the high 80s during the day so we haven’t quite seen the warm weather break just yet.
Still, that low has been inching down! The low 70s is downright comfy (and TBH, pretty cool for Florida). Monday, expect an 88 degree high and a 71 degree low.
October 12th
The next day, October 12th brings us a similar forecast with a high of 88 degrees during the day and keeping that low down at a comfortable 72 degrees.
This entire week is set to be SUNNY! You might see a little bit of variance in the cloud cover, but hopefully these should be some beautiful days we’ve got coming up!
October 13th
On Wednesday, October 13th, we’re going to see temps sit in about the same place again. So, we’ll be seeing high-80s heat at the hottest part of the day. Your low is gonna hang out at 72 degrees.
We’re also interestingly set to have a bit of a breezy week. Most of the days have predicted 10ish MPH winds. We’re usually thankful for a breeze when we’re standing in the fall heat. No complaints here!
October 14th
For Thursday, October 14th, we’re seeing a day with another consistent prediction of temperatures in the high-80s and an evening at 72 degrees.
There’s been a break in humidity this week too! Most of the week, it will stay in the 70% humidity area. That might be low for Orlando but it still might be a lot higher than you’re used to at home! Keep in mind that humidity can make it feel a few degrees warmer than it actually is.
October 15th
The week continues with similar temperatures in the day and in the nighttime on October 15th. A consistent week does make it a lot easier to pack!
UV rays are high next week as well, hanging out at a level of 8 out of 10 for most of the week. That means it’s super important to wear your sunscreen to protect your skin.
October 16th
Saturday, October 16th brings us MORE consistent temperatures for the week! These predictions are really supposed to run together.
Days are getting a bit shorter but you should still have plenty of daylight. Next week, sunrise should hit around 7:30AM and it will set around 7PM. Here, we’ll see an 88-degree high and a 72-degree low.
October 17th
And we’ll wrap up our week on October 17th with still warm temperatures and a beautiful day of mixed sunshine and clouds. Gasp! Is that rain we see?
Yep, Sunday night just might bring us some rain with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Wow, a WHOLE WEEK with no rain chances over 30%!
Overview of the Week
Here is a full overview of the week according to The Weather Channel. Temperatures are projected to hang out in about the same place for the whole week again. We’re looking at a range of 88 to 89-degree highs and 70 to 72-degree lows.

Tips for Weathering the Weather!
So, what are our best tips for packing when it comes to this week’s forecast?
Stay comfy in the heat!
Depending on where you’re from, those high 80s temperatures might feel HOT for October. You also might be outside a whole lot more than usual, so we’re bringing you some tips for staying comfortable in that heat!
The biggest thing to keep in mind is that you should plan to take some AC breaks during the day. Head to an indoor attraction or grab a meal with some indoor seating to cool off. Make sure you wear comfy clothes too! There’s nothing worse than feeling overheated and being dressed wrong in Disney World.

Stay SAFE in the sun!
And it’s not just about staying comfy. You also need to make sure you and your family are staying SAFE. Those temperatures and UV levels are HIGH and they can be dangerous if you don’t prep for them.
Our break tip from above should also help to keep you from overheating. If you’re not used to the heat, being out in the sun could result in sun sickness or dehydration. Drink a LOT of water and seek shade when you need it. Plus, wear that sunscreen!
