A lot has changed in Disney World since the 50th anniversary celebration kicked off on October 1st!
From new 50th merchandise, decorations, food, and entertainment, there’s a lot to do in Disney World right now. And along with all of this excitement, you might have missed this little detail that changed in the My Disney Experience app!
If you visited Disney World prior to October 1st, you probably saw this My Disney Experience screen with Mickey balloons fearing the four big Disney World icons. But did you know this screen has changed since the debut of Disney World’s 50th anniversary?
Once you enter a Disney Park, the My Disney Experience screen now changes to reflect the park icon of the park you’re visiting! For Magic Kingdom, you see a mauve screen with fireworks, a big 50 and Cinderella Castle.
At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the icon is of course Tower of Terror with a gold background.
Each park has its own color and styling you’ll only see if you’re there! Next time you visit Disney World, make sure you check your My Disney Experience screen for the fun new look! And keep reading DFB for all your Disney World news and tips!
