A lot has been going on here lately! We’ve seen a ton of new food, a new show that is captivating audiences, and the Tree of Life, which has a new nighttime look. We like to keep up with everything happening around the parks, so come with us as we check out what’s new at Animal Kingdom!
Animal Kingdom Construction Updates
DinoLand U.S.A.
The demolition of Primeval Whirl is continuing in DinoLand after the ride permanently closed in 2020.
We don’t know what’s going to happen to the ride or what could be taking its place, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated with news when we find out.
Sorry to fans of the ride, but it’s gone for gooood.
Animal Kingdom Merchandise Updates
Wind Traders
Some pet friends are back in Pandora!
We found these little guys inside Wind Traders that you can adopt and take home with you.
Riverside Depot
We found some new buttons over in Riverside Depot, like these sets with Disney snacks and Alice in Wonderland.
We also found these two sets, one with a vintage Mickey Mouse theme and the other featuring Minnie and Cinderella Castle!
All of these sets are $9.99. Then, we checked out these new stickers, like this glitter Mickey Mouse…
…and this multi-colored rainbow sticker that has become our new motto!
There was also this Rope Drop sticker which we definitely think we deserve!
We found these plush kids pajamas themed to Grogu from The Mandalorian…
…and some Mickey Mouse themed ones!
They both come with the plush stuffed animals and are $34.99.
Mombasa Marketplace
This new pin and patch set was seen over at Mombasa Marketplace, it’s The Little Mermaid-themed!
Pick it up for $17.99.
Island Mercantile
Check out this cool pressed coin holder we found for the 50th!
Now you can have a designated place to store all those pressed pennies you’ve been collecting.
You can get it for $14.99.

We also found some of those new 50th Wishables by the register! There was Mickey and Minnie…
…and then the mystery packs! These are $14.99.
Then, we saw the Tinkerbell Annual Passholder exclusive MagicBand! This is a limited release band.
Moving over to where the clothing is, we found these pretty pink Mickey sweatpants.
These are $49.99.
We also saw this fun Mickey cropped lightweight hoodie.
The sleeves are 3/4 length and it’s $34.99.

KiteTails
There is KiteTails merch, people!!! Well, kind of. At least there is merch near where KiteTails, Animal Kingdom’s new daytime show, is located and it’s pretty on theme.
