For months we’ve been on the lookout for the latest information about the Swan Reserve, a brand NEW hotel coming to Disney world near the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort.
We’ve shared details about the spectacular views you can get from the rooms, a FULL tour inside the hotel, and more. But now, we’ve got some exciting news about the food you’ll be able to eat at some of the Swan Reserve’s restaurants!
Not 1, not 2, not 3, but 4 NEW restaurant concepts will debut as part of the opening of the Swan Reserve when it opens this year.
First, we’ve got the full-service restaurant, Amare, that is inspired by the “tastes and cultures of the Mediterranean region.” Amare will actually be the signature restaurant of the Swan Reserve.
The menu at Amare will feature fresh, premium ingredients, seafood, citrus, olive oils, pasta, and pitas. There will also be an extensive Mediterranean-based wine list available here, with some specialized wine flights.
Wondering what will be on the Amare menu? Well, according to a recent press release from the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve, breakfast will feature a “Breakfast buffet, breakfast bowls and a la carte items including Eggs Au Cheval (two farm fresh eggs, seared medallions of angus beef tenderloin, sauce bearnaise and house breakfast potatoes).”
At lunch, you’ll be able to grab “salads, flatbreads and entrees including grilled line-caught mahi-mahi with lemon, Tuscan kale and Spanish caper emulsion.”
Finally, at dinner you can find items like “hearth-fired Tiger Prawns and charred octopus, and entrees including sea bass al cartoccio, and handmade manti dumpling filled with bahrat spiced lamb, cauliflower, roasted eggplant, tomato, yogurt sauce.”
And, of course, you’ll be able to end your night with a sweet treat. Dessert items will include “Pistachio caragli (rolled baklava), Greek yogurt cheesecake and Meyer lemon panna cotta.”
The Swan Reserve will also feature a NEW poolside bar and grill called Tangerine. This spot will feature signature drinks as well as some more casual items including flatbreads, salads, burgers, and sandwiches.
And if you’re looking for a refreshing snack by the pool, you can grab the Swan Reserve’s signature popsicle which is (appropriately) Tangerine flavored!
If you’re looking for a grab-and-go option at the Swan Reserve, you’ll want to head to Grounds. At Grounds you’ll be able to get “craft coffee, sandwiches, pastries and more.”
Finally, the last spot on this restaurant tour is the lobby lounge, Stir. At Stir, you can get “specialty cocktails and light bites including Chef’s selection of handcrafted salamis of Spain & Italy and a Soppressata, red onion, torn mozzarella, San Marzano flatbread.”
Stir will also have special food and drink pairings exclusively for guests at the Swan Reserve and these will change daily.
As a nod to Orlando’s rich history with citrus, there will be menu items (including drinks, desserts, and more) at all 4 of the new spots that are citrus-inspired.
Right now, the Swan Reserve is set to open in October of 2021.
We’ll be on the lookout for more updates and we’ll be sure to share that information with you.
