When it comes to favorite lands at Disney World, everyone has their own opinion!
While some Disney fans think Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is one of the best-themed lands in all of Disney World, others think that World Showcase is completely underrated by EPCOT guests. And some guests love the charm of Fantasyland, while others prefer the bioluminescent details of Pandora. No matter how you cut it, though, Disney fans think some lands are overrated, while others aren’t. So we asked you, our DFB readers, about the lands at Disney World! And here’s what 23,000 of you said!
Underrated
Sunset Boulevard
Sunset Boulevard at Disney’s Hollywood Studios might be the path that takes you to the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster and Tower of Terror, but the street also has some amazing details.
And maybe that’s why 58% of you said this street was underrated. The old Hollywood vibes are STRONG here!
Still, 42% of our readers felt that it was overrated, and we can get that, too — something is definitely missing (and we’re talking about Sweet Spells, which closed in 2018).
9 Things You CAN’T Miss In Disney World’s Hollywood Studios
Toy Story Land
It seems no one is tired of Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios yet either. But it’s so much fun going into the land and feeling like you’ve suddenly been shrunken down to the size of a toy!
And 65% of our readers believe this land is completely underrated. And we might have to agree, if only because this is where we can get our beloved Totchos!
Only 35% of our readers felt that Toy Story Land was overrated. And maybe that has something to do with one of our biggest complaints about this area — there isn’t a lot of shade here and it gets hot in the Florida sun!

Pandora
So we get it — y’all REALLY like Pandora at Animal Kingdom, and we can’t say we blame you. The land has so many beautiful features, and literally comes alive in vibrant light every night!
And perhaps that’s why 65% of our readers feel Pandora is underrated. Where else are you going to be able to slip into an avatar and fly on the back of a banshee?
But it is a very popular land, and attraction wait times are often very long here — so it makes since that 35% of you feel that it’s overrated.

World Showcase
So this is one we couldn’t agree with our readers more on! EPCOT’s World Showcase is pretty incredible, and we love that we can literally visit the world with just one walk around the lagoon.
A whopping 83% of you think it’s Underrated! We get why, too — guests are often so focused on Spaceship Earth, Mission Space, Test Track, and Soarin’, that maybe they miss that the world is literally at their fingertips! The theming of the pavilions is spot on, and you can buy stuff in the World Showcase shops unique to each country!
Only 17% of our readers feel that World Showcase is underrated, and for those who have traveled the world, we get that it might not compare to the real thing. But we would argue that it’s certainly close!

Future World
This was a close one, but EPCOT’s Future World barely won out in the underrated category! But it DOES have Spaceship Earth, and that is pretty awesome!
So 55% of our readers say that Future World is underrated.
Meanwhile, 45% of our readers feel it’s overrated, and it certainly feels a little like that now, especially with all the construction going on!

Tomorrowland
Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland isn’t exactly futuristic anymore, but it’s got that cool retro-futuristic vibe that just makes us feel nostalgic every time we go there.
And a lot of y’all agree with us — 68% of you feel like Tomorrowland is underrated!
But there is a LOT of nostalgia in this part of the park, including older attractions such as Space Mountain and Carousel of Progress. For some guests, that’s just not enough — 34% of our readers feel it’s overrated. It has been a long time since this look into the “future” got a refresh, so we can see where some of you are coming from!
A New Space Mountain Movie is Reportedly in the Works from Disney!
Fantasyland
It seems like when it comes to Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom, you either love it or hate it.
And that’s why it’s interesting that the results for this land were so close —Â 58% of our readers think that Fantasyland is underrated.
On the other hand, 42% feel it’s overrated, and we’ve probably felt that way ourselves at times, at least while waiting in those long lines at Peter Pan’s Flight!

Frontierland
Here’s another one that surprised us, but maybe that’s because it really is underrated — Frontierland at Magic Kingdom!
A LOT of you voted that it was underrated – 73%! And we agree because this land has a lot of great theming that some guests might miss out on as they make the trek to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
Granted, the BIG attractions are Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Splash Mountain, which kind of overshadows everything else there, so maybe that’s why 26% of our readers feel it’s overrated.

Adventureland
Okay, so we’re behind this one — Adventureland is underrated. And we’re not just saying that because it’s where we can get a Dole Whip!
Some of our favorite Disney World attractions are here, too, including the Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, and The Enchanted Tiki Room. A whopping 75% of our guests feel this land is underrated.Â
But there are still 25% of you who feel it’s overrated, and we guess we can understand that because that Dole Whip line can get a little long sometimes, as can wait times for Pirates of the Caribbean and Jungle Cruise.

Liberty Square
We’ve gotta’ admit that this one surprised us. But many of our readers believe that Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom is overrated.
This one WAS close, though, and only 52% said the land was overrated, compared to 48% who said it was underrated.
We love Liberty Square due to all its amazing historical details, not to mention it’s the home of Haunted Mansion! But if you need a bathroom here, you ARE out of luck, so maybe that’s why people don’t appreciate it so much!

DinoLand U.S.A.
So we’re not too surprised that many guests feel that DinoLand at Animal Kingdom is overrated.
Some might even argue that the whole carnival atmosphere of it all doesn’t fit the Disney aesthetic. That could be why 57% of our readers voted DinoLand as an overrated land.
However, 43% felt it was underrated — there are a lot of interesting details in the land that are so easy to miss, and believe it or not, there is an interesting theme there with the history of the Dino Institute!

It’s a Tie!
Okay, this rarely happens, but we actually had a tie for Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios. Now, we’ll argue that if you’re a Star Wars fan, Galaxy’s Edge will probably blow your mind!
And 50% of our readers agree and think it’s totally underrated. And the other 50% think it’s overrated.
It makes sense — this land is hyped up A LOT. And to experience Rise of the Resistance sometimes feels next to impossible. But as we said, this one is still a MUST for Star Wars fans!
