You may have bought the Haunted Mansion bags, watched the Haunted Mansion Muppets special, and ridden the Haunted Mansion ride hundreds of times…but have you ever SLEPT in a place entirely themed to be just like the Haunted Mansion?!
Sound like a dream (or nightmare!) come true? Then, there’s a VERY special location you’ll want to check out!
Haunted Mansion fans: it’s time to make your way to California — Fullerton, California to be exact, to check out one of the most EPIC airbnb spots we’ve ever seen. This is the “Haunted Mansion-inspired Ghostly Retreat” hosted by Jeffrey/Sinister Pointe, and yes, it is as incredible as it looks!
A huge thank you to Heather Sievers (DininginDisney) who stayed at the airbnb and shared these photos with us. According to Heather, “photos do not do this home justice.”
According to the airbnb page, the home features 4 bedrooms, 5 beds, and 2 baths. It can accommodate up to 8 guests and is FULLY decked out in Haunted Mansion decor and theming literally everywhere you look!!
In every corner of the house, you’ll find a hauntingly awesome reference to the ride — from those very familiar portraits to names over certain rooms that reference characters directly from the Mansion.
Seriously, folks, even the bathrooms are spooky looking…
…but in the best way possible!
Gotta clean up for that swinging wake!
We’ll start on the outside of the home, where you’ll find a little pet cemetery.
Inside, there are wall-to-wall creeps…
…and spaces that are delightfully unlivable (though we think you’ll find them quite live-able for your short stay).
Perhaps most impressive is the airbnb’s version of the Stretching Room.
The space comes complete with the 4 portraits from that room, and a center table where you can hold a seance, or, you know, just chill.
Even the entrance to this space is heavily themed.
The rooms themselves are heavily themed…
…and we love all of the elaborate pillows and comforters used to really give it that mansion-type feel.
There are rooms themed to Madame Leota, Master Gracey, the Hatbox Ghost, and more.
Another favorite section is the part of the house that contains the artwork from the mansion that aren’t quite as they seem.
You could spend your entire time here just walking around to check out all of the incredible details — there’s so much to look at!
There are also some pretty awesome effects that pop up throughout the home.
An average mirror might just transform into a spot where you can find the Hitchhiking Ghosts!
You just never know what you’ll find!
In the dining room, you’ll find a decently sized table, great for sharing a spooky meal with friends.
During Heather’s stay, they had a special meal catered…
…with all kinds of awesome Haunted Mansion details (from the ride and movie).
This could be the perfect spot for a spooky but fun fall-themed adventure.
We just can’t get over how many details there are throughout the space. You might even find a hidden Mickey or two!
It seems everywhere you look, there’s something else to see.
Check out Heather’s post below with some videos inside the home showing off some of this spot’s amazing effects! While the photos show some of the awesome details, the sound effects make them even better.

Even the outside of the house has some spooktacular details, with a few gravestones in the lawn.
If you’re jumping at the chance to do the closest thing to staying in the Haunted Mansion itself, you can check to see what this airbnb’s availability is like. Just be aware that a trip to visit this ghostly retreat ain’t cheap!
A 1-night stay is priced at about $722! And note that there is an additional fee for the 7th and 8th guests if you decide to bring that many.
Split between 6 guests, $722 breaks down to just over $120 each.
If you’re a huge Haunted Mansion fan, this could be an awesome way to treat yourself or an epic place to stay for a birthday present or to celebrate any kind of big occasion.
Bookings for this place are pretty full though, so if you want to stay there, be sure to check the available dates and get booking!
We’ll keep an eye out for more amazing Disney-themed spots you could stay at and we’ll let you know what we find!
