Disneyland Resort has had all kinds of changes recently, from the reopening of attractions to ticket price increases.
Soon, another change will be made at the resort, and we think this is one that many fans will be thrilled about.
Trams are coming BACK to Disneyland in early 2022, according to the Orange County Register.
Parking trams used to run between both parking garages (the Mickey & Friends and Pixar Pals garages), but the trams stopped running in March of last year. The trams haven’t returned since, which means that guests parking in those garages have to make a nearly 1-mile long trek to the park entrances.
But that journey will go a lot faster in early 2022, when the tram service returns to bring guests from both garages to the entrance to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure.
According to the Orange County register, “The Anaheim theme park will conduct maintenance on the parking trams and rehire staff during the next few months.”
As a reminder, the Toy Story surface parking lot is also open now, and it has a bus service that takes guests from the parking to the park entrances.
In addition, the Disneyland Monorail reopened recently, which means guests can ride the monorail into Disneyland Park as well.

Maybe they were going to charge for tram service, but decided to bury it in the increased parking fee. Think of it as $5 to ride the tram.

The tram needs to reopen now! We have the rains coming and it is cold! I am 69 and walking an extra 2 miles for parking is more than I can handle. Further, the parking fee includes the tram transport to the gates! Drop the fees or return the trams NOW!Denise
