Halloween weekend has arrived, which means that the holidays are — quite literally — right around the corner.
And Disney World is gearing up for the season — we’ve already seen holiday decorations in the parks, we got a sneak peek at some of the holiday merchandise we’ll soon find, and we even have a list of holiday treats we can’t wait to try! And now, we’ve got some details about this year’s gingerbread displays.
If you have never seen the gingerbread displays at Disney World, you’ll need to know this — they are EPIC. And we didn’t have them everywhere last year (except for a cool Capital City display at EPCOT) so you’ll want to know about some new details about this year’s displays because they are coming back!
Grand Floridian
First, you’ll want to visit the lobby of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa between November 10th and January 1st, where you’ll find a life-size gingerbread house with “cinnamon clouds” coming out of its chimney, along with edible decor. AND you can buy your own house-made gingerbread houses and ornaments at the holiday shop there.
Beach Club
Next up, you’ll want to head over to Disney’s Beach Club Resort between November 1st to January 2nd to see a gingerbread carousel themed around The Little Mermaid. This carousel features hand-painted characters, handcrafted gingerbread shingles, and snowflakes made of fondant. And when you’re done there, be sure to check out the lobby of Disney’s Yacht Club Resort to see a holiday village, complete with a miniature train.
EPCOT
Finally, make your way over to The American Adventure Rotunda at EPCOT to see The American Adventure Gingerbread Display, which will be available from November 26th through December 30th. This gingerbread house will recreate an edible version of the Lincoln Memorial, as well as the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, with the American Adventure pavilion and an EPCOT Festival of the Holidays kitchen.
We can’t wait to see the amazing gingerbread displays return this year, and we’ll be sure to share plenty of photos when they debut. So stay tuned for more!

Have you ever seen the Disney World gingerbread displays? Let us know in the comments!
Angela says
Can you visit the Grand Floridian without a dining reservation? If you just want to see the gingerbread house. I know things have changed since Covid.
Cj says
What about Boardwalk, Contemporary, and Wilderness Lodge? I hope those will be included in the return of normalcy at Disney World resorts.
Lynn says
What about the Contemporary. Will they not have one on display this year?
DFB Sarah says
Lynn, Disney did not include the Contemporary’s display in their info, so we’ll be looking out for more info on this.
DFB Sarah says
CJ, these were not mentioned by Disney in the announcement. We’ll still check on these Resorts when the displays start to go up.
