Space 220 is one of EPCOT’s latest dining offerings and features an immersive dining experience that makes you feel like you’re in space!
Today, we’re ranking ALL of Space 220’s food offerings from their $55 Prix Fixe lunch!
We’re starting from our least favorites and working our way up to our must-trys! Let’s get it started!
Lift-Offs (Appetizers)
7 — Galaxy Grain Salad
At the bottom of our list is the Galaxy Grain Salad with Quinoa, Beluga Lentils, Roasted Red and Golden Beets, Oranges, King Oyster Mushroom, Cashew Hummus!
This one had a lot of great-tasting ingredients, but the combination of all of these ingredients was not a winner for us.
6 — Neptune Tartare
The Neptune Tartare is made with Yellowfin Tuna, Yuzu Ginger Miso, Soy, Avocado, Raddish, Apple, and Sesame Crackers.
It has a very creative presentation and great flavors, but its adventurous flavors might not be for everyone!
5 — Centauri Caesar Salad
Next up was the Centauri Caesar Salad with Miniature Romaine, Classic Caesar Dressing, and Parmigiano Reggiano.
This is pretty much just your standard Caesar salad!
4 — Starry Calamari
At number four, we’ve got the Starry Calamari with Fried Calamari, Italian Cherry Peppers, Spicy Marinara, and Roasted Pepper Citrus Aioli!
This was a hefty appetizer with a nice light breading that wasn’t too greasy.
3 — Space Greens
The best salad was the Space Greens with Bibb Lettuce, Dried Cranberries, Roasted Pears, Spiced Pecans, and Apple Cider Dressing.
This was the most exciting of the three salad offerings, but it still wasn’t nearly as good as the other appetizer options.
2 — Big Bang Burrata
At number two is the Big Bang Burrata with Burrata di Mozzarella, Grilled Artichoke Hearts, Arugula, and Sunflower Seed Romesco.
It was tasty, although we wanted it to come with bread and a more flavorful sauce.
1– Blue Moon Cauliflower
And the winner is…the Blue Moon Cauliflower with Tempura Fried Cauliflower, Housemade Hot Sauce, and Blue Cheese Dust!
The textures, the flavors, the freeze-dried blue cheese…everything was just perfect on this appetizer!
The Star Courses (Entrees)
8 — Terra-Bolognese
At the bottom of our list of entrees was the Terra-Bolognese with Corn Linguine, Tempeh Ragu, Macadamia Nut “Ricotta,” Zucchini, and Mushroom. This one is a little bit too basic for our tastes, especially with the $55 price tag of the meal.
7 — Centauri Burger
Next is the Centauri Burger with Signature Beef Blend, White Cheddar Cheese, Bacon, Shredded Lettuce, Tomatoes, Fried Potato Wedges, and Sriracha Aioli.
This was a good dish, but much like the Bolognese, it’s just not worth the price!
6 — Baked Maccheroni
Right above the burger is the Baked Maccheroni with Candele Pasta, Sausage Ragu, Broccolini, Sheep’s Milk Ricotta, Béchamel, and Pecorino.
This was a good dish, just a little bit basic given the setting and price (we actually forgot we ate it for a little while there, it’s not memorable at all).
5 — Roasted Free Range Chicken
Next up is the Roasted Free-Range Chicken with Chicken Roulade, Mashed Potatoes, Brussels Sprouts, and Roasted Garlic Thyme Jus!
This is a good dish, but it’s pretty something you’d eat at a holiday dinner at your parent’s house.
4 — Blue house Salmon
At number four on our list is the Bluehouse Salmon with Glazed Carrots, King Oyster Mushrooms, Baby Bok Choy, Ginger, and Beurre Blanc.
This was a really well-composed dish and tasted amazing with the beurre blanc.
3 — Flat Iron Steak
Next is the Flat Iron Steak with Coffee Space Rub, Smashed Fingerling Potatoes, Cabernet Butter, and Haricot Vert!
This was a fantastic dish, the only thing that held it back were the green beans. But it was great besides the beans.
2 — The Lobster Globe
This one isn’t necessarily an entree, it’s an add-on for $18! The Lobster Globe is Maine Lobster Salad, Quinoa, Bulgur Wheat, Avocado, Lettuce, Mango, Citrus Dressing, and Crispy Wonton.
This grabbed our number two spot because it was delicious and had an amazing otherworldly presentation, but it isn’t a lot of food for an extra $18.
1 — Seared Tuna
Finally, the winner is the Seared Tuna with Spiced Yellowfin Tuna, Avocado, Marinated Egg, Brown Rice, Edamame, Pineapple, and Radishes!
This dish has a LOT going on, but everything works together perfectly and makes this dish a bang-for-your-buck symphony of flavor.
