In case you haven’t noticed, the holiday season has arrived in full force in Magic Kingdom!
Today, we’re going to be covering what’s new in the park, which will, of course, include tons of the latest holiday happenings this season. But the fun doesn’t stop there — we have character meet and greets, snacks, merchandise, and more! Let’s dive right in!
Magic Kingdom Food Updates
Main Street Confectionery
With the holiday season upon us, some of the seasonal treats started to arrive in Magic Kingdom! Our first stop was at the newly reopened Main Street Confectionery, where guests can snack on some classic treats that have taken on a fun holiday twist!
Decorations can be spotted outside and inside!
We noticed that Christmas M&M’s were added to the lineup of colors available…
…and we also spotted classic treats like these festive Caramel Apples available for purchase!
These are just some of the holiday treats that will be available all season long in Magic Kingdom, as well as around the other parks and resorts!

Big Top Treats
Select holiday treats are also available at Big Top Treats!
We picked up a Minnie Mouse Crispy Treat, which comes with a Minnie Mouse-shaped crispy with milk chocolate covering the ears and a red bow. The base is coated in white chocolate and covered in red sprinkles and green M&Ms’.
If you want to pick up one of these Minnie Mouse Crispies on your next visit, it’ll cost $5.49.

Magic Kingdom General Updates
Perhaps the biggest change we’ve noticed in our recent trips to Magic Kingdom is that Halloween is totally a thing of the past, and the park has fully embraced the holiday season! Decorations were lining Main Street, U.S.A. the moment guests stepped foot in the park on November 1st, just a few hours after trick-or-treating came to an end!
We also happened to notice that the decorations have a new gold color scheme!
If you’re someone who’s less into the “classic” holiday decorations and you prefer things to be a little more “retro,” you’ll find some neat silver and gold metallic trees adorning the stage in Tomorrowland!
If you’re the type of person who doesn’t decorate their house until after Thanksgiving, you may want to brace yourself for all of the festive decor in Magic Kingdom! With Disney Very Merriest After Hours starting next week, the park needed to transform into a “winter” wonderland a little early!

Over in Adventureland, Jungle Cruise has officially switched over to the Jingle Cruise overlay for the season!
You can spot holiday decorations throughout the queue as well as the attraction itself, and the Skipper’s usual banter takes on a more seasonal vibe.
Holidays aside, another big update in Magic Kingdom is that character meet and greets have returned in a modified format! Guests can have socially distanced sightings of Mickey Mouse in Town Square Theater (note that hugs and autographs are still unavailable, but you can wave and snap a selfie!).
Guests can also say “hello” to the Princesses at Fairytale Hall.
These distanced meet and greets have begun popping up in the other parks as well, so be sure to check the day you visit to see which characters are available to see!

Magic Kingdom Merchandise Updates
Emporium
Despite all of the holiday happenings we spotted in Magic Kingdom, we actually did not find any new holiday merchandise on our recent visits! Don’t worry, the Emporium is fully decorated and waiting for the arrival of those holiday must-haves.
Right now, guests can spot plenty of greenery, tinsel, lights, ribbons, and more along with their favorite Disney World souvenirs.
We’ve made our list and checked it twice, and we can’t wait for the holiday merchandise to officially arrive at Emporium along with the other shops around Disney World!

Tomorrowland Light & Power Co.
We did find a couple of new to us magnets you can add to your refrigerator or car over at Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. The first one features Dug from Pixar’s Up!
The second magnet features Marie from The Aristocats.
Both magnets are available for $14.99.
