You can find all kinds of holiday treats in Disney World right now!
We’ve already tried out some of the bakery confections and seen a few treats holding onto the fall season, but now we’re heading to a familiar spot for some holiday drinks. Peppermint Mocha…Irish Cream Cold Brew…Chestnut Praline Latte…any of those ringing a bell?
If you guessed Starbucks, you’re right! All the Starbucks locations in Disney World got their holiday drinks today. You can find some old favorites like Peppermint Mocha, Toasted White Chocolate Mocha, Irish Cream Cold Brew, Caramel Brûlée Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte, and Peppermint Hot Chocolate on the menus…
…but there’s also a newcomer: the Iced Sugar Cookie Latte with Almond Milk! We headed into the Main Street Bakery in the Magic Kingdom to give it a try.
For $5.69, you can get an iced latte with hints of sugar cookie flavor, topped with sugar cookie sprinkles.
We thought this drink was actually delicious. We thought it would be overly sweet and loaded with a cookie flavor, but the sweetness was actually much more subtle than that.
Since we don’t usually love intensely sweet drinks, we really enjoyed this one. But if you’re looking for a strong cookie flavor, you might be a little disappointed in this latte. Even we could’ve done with a bit more of the cookie-ness, although we thought the sprinkles on top were a fun touch.
In general, it was basically a normal iced latte with hints of cookie flavor, so it’s a fun way to bring just a little bit of Christmas cheer into your normal coffee routine.
But if you don’t want sugary cookie flavor in your coffee, or you want a very strong Christmas flavor, we’d recommend trying out a different drink! In Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we picked up one of our old favorites, the hot Caramel Brûlée, at the Starbucks location in this park — the Trolley Car Cafe. After all, 73° is cool enough for a hot coffee, right? Maybe?
This one was tasty (as expected)!
You can get it and all the other holiday drinks at the Starbucks locations inside the Disney World parks. The other parks’ locations are the Traveler’s Cafe in EPCOT…
…and Creature Comforts in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Note that when we stopped by the Trolley Car Cafe, the Irish Cream Cold Brew was not available at the time. So the drinks may vary, depending on the demand and which park you’re in. But if you’re not finding something that looks good in the Starbucks locations, you can always check out Joffrey’s (the other coffee stop in Disney World), which has locations in each of the Disney World parks as well.
