Every now and then, we love to quiz our followers over on Instagram to see how much Disney trivia they know! With the holiday season kicking off this week in Disney World with festive decorations and snacks starting to appear, we thought we would throw some Disney holiday trivia questions out there and see what the responses were like!
See if you can play along to find out how many of these questions you would get correct!
Warning, this quiz stumped a LOT of our followers — only 9% of those who responded said they got all six questions correct, while 91% missed having a perfect score! Let’s dive in and see what YOUR score is!
We asked which Disney World attraction does NOT typically get a holiday overlay: Living With the Land, Jungle Cruise, Peter Pan’s Flight, or Tomorrowland Speedway?
The correct answer is Peter Pan’s Flight!
Living With the Land has received its own special holiday lighting in recent years, Jungle Cruise transforms into Jingle Cruise, and Tomorrowland Speedway gets a small overlay during the after-hours holiday parties.
We then asked, how tall is the Magic Kingdom Christmas tree: 70 feet, 58 feet, 75 feet, or 65 feet?
The correct answer is 65 feet!
We then asked our followers if they knew what these lights shown below are called: Dream Lights, Disney’s Holiday Lights, Illuminating Lights, or Cinderella’s Magical Lights?
The correct answer is Dream Lights! While they are not returning this year, in years past the Dream Lights would light up nightly in Magic Kingdom. Last year and this year, Cinderella Castle took on a new holiday look with special projection designs.
Next question! Which popular Disney World lounge gets a MAJOR holiday makeover each year: BaseLine Tap House, Nomad Lounge, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar, or La Cava del Tequila?
While you may spot special holiday menu items at several of these lounges, Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar goes all-out with multiple new menu items and tons of holiday decor as it transforms into Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar.
The next question was, what is the year-round Christmas store in Magic Kingdom called: Disney’s Days of Christmas, Ye Old Christmas Store, Uptown Christmas Shoppe, or Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe?
The correct answer is Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe! It’s located in Liberty Square and sells holiday decorations 365 days a year. Fun fact: there’s a NEW year-round Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe that just opened in Disneyland, too!
The final question in our holiday trivia game was, what year did the very first “Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade” air: 2002, 1983, 1971, or 1996?
The parade isn’t quite as old as Disney World itself, but it’s pretty close: the first parade aired in 1983! It was hosted by Joan Lunden and Mike Douglas.
