My Disney Experience has been experiencing a lot of changes lately.
With the introduction of Disney Genie, there is a whole new section of the app you can utilize to see projected wait times, make Lightning Lane reservations, check on dining availability, and more. And today, we noticed something else that’s new on My Disney Experience.
My Disney Experience now shows if you are subscribed to Disney+. If you go to the “My Profile” section in your account, then click on Memberships & Passes, the app will display all of your current memberships and passes. Here you will find things like your annual pass, and it now will show if you’re a Disney+ subscriber.
Note that if you do not have the same email on your Disney+ account that you use for My Disney Experience, then it will not link up and show if you are a Disney+ subscriber. This is an interesting update for the app! We haven’t yet seen this on the Disneyland app, but we’ll keep you updated, so stay tuned to DFB for more.

Doesn’t show my Disney+. What does it do?
Todd says
This is certainly a move to continue and drive Disney+ subscriptions and leadership is wise enough to know that more Disney visitors will subscribe if there are park perks connected to it. The drawback in function is that Disney+ is typically tied to only email address in a home while My Disney Experience may be connected to the email address of someone else in the home, as is the case in my home…someone handles tech in the home while someone else handles Disney planning!
