Disney World is in full holiday mode right now!
There are lots of new treats to try out, we’ve seen new merchandise in the shops, and the Very Merriest After Hours event has begun. All of the parks have been putting up decorations over the last week or so (and some started even earlier than that!), except for one. But now the last Disney World park to get decorations is finally getting into the holiday spirit!
We’ve seen decorations come to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the Magic Kingdom, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Now there are decorations over in EPCOT as well!
The first decorations we spotted were at the entrance to the park, with garlands hanging under the archways.
But the biggest addition is the giant Christmas tree, located at the entrance to World Showcase. Many of the decorations are blue this year — likely to play into the 50th anniversary decor around the parks.
This tree is decorated with ornaments with flags from countries around the world.
And you can also spot holiday greetings written in different languages on this tree!
On top, there’s an angel holding a globe.
But that’s not the only bit of holiday cheer that you’ll find in this park. We stopped by the UK pavilion and saw the festive tea set that’s decorated with holly and Christmas trees.
And the street lamps in this pavilion were decorated with garland as well!
More holiday decor is coming to this park for the festive season, so we’ll be sure to let you know when it arrives. Stay tuned with DFB for all the latest updates.
