Mickey’s PhilharMagic is as popular attraction in the Magic Kingdom where guests can see a 3D show filled with Disney music and Donald Duck antics.
The attraction has been closed for about a month as imagineers added a new scene to the show inspired by the Disney Pixar movie Coco. We’ve already seen the Disneyland version of this ride update, and now it’s Disney World’s turn. Today, the attraction finally reopened! Let’s head in and see how the new scene looks.
The first thing we noticed was a new exterior on this attraction. The sign used to be gold with blue letters…
…but it got a sharp makeover, and it’s now dark blue with bright gold letters.
There’s still a little work to be done on the side of the signs, though!
The wait was only 20 minutes when we stopped by today.
We headed in…
…and picked up our opera (3D) glasses to get ready for the show.
While you’re waiting for the show to begin, be sure to look around for some cool details in this theater.
You might even spot some hidden Mickeys, like this one in the French horn!
Now, on to the show. We were so happy to see our old favorite scenes back, but we’re really here for the new Coco additions! There’s a big scene featuring the “Un Poco Loco” song from the film.
And we also got to see characters like Miguel and Hector along with the alebrijes Dante and Pepita.
Of course Donald was there the whole time, chasing Mickey’s sorcerer hat through Coco scenes.
We have to say, the new scene makes this attraction even better than we remember it! Stay tuned with DFB for all the latest Disney World updates.

Is the attraction longer? If not, what did they cut out?
