PHOTOS & VIDEO: What Disney+ Day Celebrations Look Like in the Parks Today!

Today, Disney is celebrating their streaming service’s 2 year anniversary! There are a bunch of new shows, shorts, and movies on Disney+, including Marvel’s Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings at no extra cost. The Disney Parks are also taking part in the festivities today, with Disney+ subscribers allowed to enter all the Walt Disney World parks 30 minutes before park opening. So, let’s head into the parks and see what special celebrations are happening!

The Disney World parks are decorated for Disney+ Day! And, there’s a special message you’ll hear when you scan into the parks if you’re a Disney+ subscriber. Listen closely…do you hear a familiar Mandalorian voice?!

We first went to Animal Kingdom to see what the early entry for Disney+ subscribers was like. There were signs outside of the entrance for the celebrations.

It’s a special day!

Then, as soon as we got inside, Cast Members were handing out FREE STUFF!

There was a free Disney+ Day hat…

…and a button!

We love free stuff!

Next, we went over to Hollywood Studios to see what the celebrations were like there. The entrance was all decked out in Disney+ signage.

And once inside, we saw they were also giving away the Disney+ Day hats and buttons to guests!

A lot of people were clearly grabbing the free hats!

Making our way further into the park, we saw large Disney+ decals on the ground.

Some of them were even roped off!

We also saw Disney+ banners lining the way toward the Chinese Theater.

And there were flags up on the streets, too!

There are also special photo ops and free PhotoPass downloads at select locations in Hollywood Studios for Disney+ subscribers!

Heads up, we were asked to show proof of our subscription in order to get in line for the photo op.

Disney Parks was also having some fun lighting up the park icons for the occasion!
