Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been hopping today with all the new Disney+ Day offerings.
But that’s not all that’s different about this Disney World park. We’re heading around the shops, attractions, and restaurants to find out what’s new this week. Come join us to get all the updates!
We’ll start out with Disney+ Day news!
Hollywood Studios Disney+ Day Update
November 12th was Disney+ Day, which means that Disney World rolled out the blue carpet to all the guests who subscribe to their streaming channel.
Subscribers got to enter all the Disney World parks 30 minutes before opening today as part of this event. Inside the parks, there were all kinds of celebrations going on, and Hollywood Studios got some of the best new entertainment.
In all the parks, you could get a free hat and a button if you’re a Disney+ subscriber.
There were decorations, special photo ops, and PhotoPass props for the subscribers as well!
We got to meet several characters who were visiting Hollywood Studios for this occasion, like Russell, Carl, and Dug from Up…
…Tiana from Princess and the Frog…
…Moana…
…and Darth Vader.
There was even a special Disney+ Day cavalcade!
The mini-parade had the characters we saw earlier…
…Mickey and Minnie Mouse, and more!
Besides the park celebrations, Disney+ has been very busy today with a lot of announcements for new and upcoming content!

Hollywood Studios Food Update
We’ve been trying out all the new holiday treats in Disney World, and the next one on our list was over at ABC Commissary in Hollywood Studios.
This treat is the Sugar Cookie Snowman! It’s a tasty snowman made with White Chocolate Sugar Cookie Mousse, Whipped Lemon Curd, all on top of a Holiday Sugar Cookie.
We thought the flavors were very tasty but not super strong. The lemon and white chocolate were both pretty subtle, but we still enjoyed this treat!
You can try one out this holiday season for $5.49.

Hollywood Studios Merchandise Update
There were all kinds of new merchandise in Hollywood Studios as well! Here’s a look at several shops around the park and what new items they had.
Mickey’s of Hollywood
Mickey’s of Hollywood had a few new clothing items.
We found some light blue sweatpants with a Mickey decal that matched other loungewear in the same collection.
These joggers cost $49.99. You can also get two new Star Wars-themed shirts. There was a grey sweatshirt with Boba Fett on the front for $52.99…
…and a pink tie-dye long-sleeve shirt with Darth Vader for $39.99.
The sleeve of this tee says “Join the Dark Side.”
Keystone Clothiers
There were LOTS of new Marvel-themed things at Keystone Clothiers this week, so buckle up!
We found several new holiday-themed Marvel shirts, including a kids’ shirt with the Avengers made of holiday cookies for $19.99.
There was a holiday sweatshirt that said “Season’s Grootings” with our favorite superhero tree on the front for $59.99.
We spotted Spidey on the next holiday t-shirt, which has the hero hanging from the Marvel logo using Christmas lights. This one is $36.99.
A kids’ t-shirt themed after Captain Marvel said “Higher, Further, Faster.” It costs $29.99.
If you need a great Christmas sweater for your upcoming family gathering, we found a Captain America sweatshirt that looks like a cardigan! It’s $59.99.
There was a kids’ Avengers jersey with a button-up front…
…and a number 1 on the back for $29.99.
And we also saw a grey Avengers t-shirt along with a blue Captain America tee, which were both $36.99.
To go with your new top, you can also get kids’ Marvel leggings, which are covered in the symbols of the Avengers.
“Avengers” is written in metallic silver down the side of one leg. These are $29.99.
Rounding out our trip around Keystone Clothiers, we found a set of Avengers figurines from the Infinity War movie.
You can get the full set for $49.99.
Legends of Hollywood
Probably the best find of this week was the Disney snack-themed Alex and Ani bracelet.
The bracelet has charms of holiday snacks from around the parks, including a cookie and a Mickey premium bar.
You can get the bracelet for $59.99.
Darkroom
In Darkroom, we made a few new discoveries that actually weren’t holiday-themed (unlike most of the new merchandise).
There was a pastel tie-dye hat with a little Mickey embroidered on the front for $29.99.
And we found a red tumbler that’s themed after Pizza Planet from Toy Story.
You can get this water bottle for $19.99.
There was also a Disney World park water bottle, which had a map of Disney World with lots of important landmarks on the front.
It had the Walt Disney World logo on the other side.
This one costs $27.99.

Hollywood Studios Construction Update
On our way into the parks this morning, we saw two new billboards up in the Hollywood Studios parking lot. One was advertising a new Disney Christmas movie on Disney+ called Christmas…Again?!
Another showed off the upcoming Hawkeye series, which debuts on Disney+ on November 24th, 2021.
And inside the park, we spotted Encanto banners up on some light posts!
This new movie is coming to theaters on November 24th. That wraps up our updates for Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Keep following DFB for more of the latest news in Disney World.

Jabroniville says
There’s a FLAPPER-form Tiana costume?! I had no idea! I’d only ever seen her in the Princess Dress! Darn, this would have been great for a D+ day- I was in Animal Kingdom instead, so I missed her & Moana.
