Disney World is the Most Magical Place on Earth, but sometimes it can also seem like the Most Expensive Place on Earth! The key word being “sometimes.”
Just because certain restaurants might cost as much as your mortgage and certain “petit” cakes have not so petit price tags, that doesn’t mean you can’t still find SERIOUS Disney deals out there — some as low as $1! Don’t believe us? Read on!
The notion of being to able to buy something for $1 at Disney World may seem like a cruel April Fool’s joke, but it’s true!
While a VAST majority of snacks and merch still cost considerably more than a buck, there are still plenty of budget-friendly items you can get on the CHEAP! In addition to periodic online deals, like this $1 Disney plush, here are 6 other Disney items you can get for the low cost of a DOLLAR.
Cheesy Snack Upgrade
One surefire way to level up your snack game in Disney World? Adding Plastic Cheese, of course!
Let’s face it: practically EVERYTHING gets better with ooey-gooey cheese. Especially when said cheese costs a scant $1!
We’ve seen this deal at Backlot Express with French Fries, but you never know where else you might be able to order it in the parks! You’ll find a cheesy white queso over at La Cantina de San Angel in EPCOT’s Mexico Pavilion for only 75 cents (!!) as well! So the next time you’re looking to liven up your spuds, don’t shy away from the $1 (or less!) Plastic Cheese upgrade.

Cups. Of. Frosting.
Speaking of game-changing dips, we’d be remiss not to mention one of the greatest dessert dips in the history of Disney World: the cups of frosting from Gideon’s Bakehouse!
Okay okay, so the buttercream frosting cups are technically a wee bit more than $1, clocking in at $1.50, but if we’re rounding down it totally counts, right? (Yeah, it’s a stretch. But a buck fifty ain’t bad, y’all.)
Especially when you consider the AMOUNT of frosting you get in these little tubs (perfect for cooking-dipping!), this seems like an incredible, unique bargain from one of Disney World’s most popular snack stops!

Donut-ify Your Sandwich
We’re pleased to report that all it costs to SERIOUSLY upgrade your snack life in Disney World is a measly $1! Just like the Plastic Cheese trick, Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew in Disney Springs lets you elevate your sandwich for just a buck!
So how does it work? Just order any of the shop’s savory sandwiches, like the burger or the grilled cheese, and swap out the bread or bun for a glazed DONUT for just $1 more!
Does a sugary fresh donut make good sandwich bread? Yes. Yes, it does. It’s works so much better than you could ever dream! Fair warning: you may never be able to return to “regular” sandwiches again…but it’ll be worth it.

Refills in Disneyland
One of the sneakiest ways most folks wind up spending WAY too much money in Disney is by purchasing drinks throughout the day to stay hydrated — they REALLY add up! But in Disneyland, one spot is taking mercy with $1 refills!
Head to Wetzel’s Pretzels in Downtown Disney, snag a Wetzel’s Pretzels Souvenir Mug (it’s so cute and cost $14.99 when we got one!), and fill ‘er up! It only gets better from there.
If you come back with your receipt, you can get one more drink for FREE, and then on every subsequent visit, all you gotta do is show your souvenir cup and you’ll get refills for $1! Lemonade just tastes sweeter at a discount. Check that this cup is available when you visit — it’s a great deal if so!

Did Someone Say $1 Coffee?!
Okay, so this isn’t a REGULAR thing, but it’s worth mentioning because it happens regularly enough, and it’s always an exciting moment for us coffee-lovers: Joffrey’s Coffee and Tea Company can occasionally be seen serving coffee for a buck!
Most recently, ALL locations at Disney World were slinging 16 oz. hot coffees for $1 in honor of National Coffee Day on September 29th (so bookmark that date for future reference).
Olaf Mac & Cheese
You can also find Disney deals OUTSIDE the parks! Case in point: the ultimate Frozen-themed snack for just $.99!
Target has an Olaf Mac & Cheese, wherein the noodles come in fun shapes inspired by Frozen characters. Considering Elsa’s preference for cold weather, not sure she’d appreciate simmering in hot cheese, but we’re here for it.
Now, we’re not saying that Disney discounts are EVERYWHERE, but if you’re willing to look around a bit, you might be surprised by just how big a difference a dollar can make!

Rosie’s All-American Café in HS has a $1 side of chili. It’s not a large portion, but works in a $ pinch on a cold day.

Your banner headline is a little misleading. Most of what you talk about doesn’t really qualify as a food but is a condiment or a drink. And I doubt you can buy the glazed donut by itself for $1. It probably only comes at that price as an addition to a sandwich. Which leaves you with a box of Mac and Cheese that you can’t get at the parks.

I might be mistaken but I believe there was a time the plastic cheese was FREE.
