It’s the week of Thanksgiving, which means lots of delicious food and seasonal flavors!
You can find Thanksgiving feasts all around Disney World with smoked turkey, mashed potatoes, veggies, and more. OR you can skip the meal and head straight for the dessert! That’s what we did today in Disney World, and we weren’t sorry about it.
We headed to Disney Springs, which is a shopping and dining center that has tons of gift shops and possibly some of the best dining in Disney World.
One of the best stops for donut lovers is Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew, which has an awesome variety of fun-flavored donuts.
Today we’re trying out their seasonal treat, the Sweet Potato Pecan Pie Mash-Up Donut!
This is a big glazed donut that’s topped with cinnamon-sugar dusted sweet potato fries, crunchy candied pecans, and sweet-salty bacon, all drizzled with a marshmallow sauce. It looks like an explosion of fall flavors! You can get one for $6.50.
Besides how irresistibly Instagram-able this donut is (seriously, those sweet potato fries look like a delicious firework), it also tastes fantastic! There’s some great saltiness coming from the fries and the bacon, which helps to balance out the sweetness from the marshmallow sauce, pecans, and donut.
The marshmallow drizzle has a great, true marshmallow taste (a.k.a. not super artificial). It’s delicious and very sticky, just like we think it should be. Be sure to grab LOTS of napkins if you’re going to get this treat!
The candied pecans on top were one of our favorite elements. They’re exactly what you expect with candied pecans — a mix of sweet and salty with a very satisfying crunch. The added texture difference takes this donut to the next level in our humble opinion.
The bacon was a little bit hard to find with so much else going on, and we could really only taste it when we had some bacon on its own. But we think that the subtle savory flavor still helped to balance out the sweetness.
The donut itself was very fresh and delicious. It’s a basic vanilla donut, which is perfect since there are so many other flavors going on here! And the center of the donut tastes just like a pecan pie. In general, we’re ranking this donut near the top of all the donuts we’ve had at Everglazed.

Our only complaint is that the sweet potato fries on top were pretty cold and weren’t crispy at all. We would’ve loved them to be hot and crispy, but they were fairly squishy instead.
Also, the donut is HUGE. You’ll probably need some friends if you’re going to finish off this colossal treat! If you’re looking for a delicious Thanksgiving treat this season, you might want to stop by Everglazed for their Sweet Potato Pecan Pie Mash-Up.
